Todd Creek Golf Club
About
Arthur Hills designed the 18-hole golf course at the semi-private Todd Creek Golf Club (previously known as Heritage Todd Creek Golf Club). Opened in 2007, the golf course is 7,435 yards from its championship tees. Nestled near the Rocky Mountains, Hills used the natural landscape to create an exceptional course. Native grasses and wetlands make up the course's rolling terrain, which undergoes several changes in elevation. A creek also creates water hazards on the course while adding to the peaceful atmosphere. Undulating fairways and strategically placed bunkers also add interest to Todd Creek Golf Club. Golfers can enjoy spectacular views of the Rockies while playing this challenging, but fun course.

Pin flags are wind socks.... blowin' in the wind. Photo submitted by Sam Sherstad on 07/24/2013
Beautiful views, playable course
Course had been recently aerated which we knew prior to signing up to play. Overall a decent course, built into a housing development. Great views of the snow capped front range mountains. Great practice area and range. We did not eat at the facility but it was crowded when we finished at 6:00 on a Friday night. Pace of play was slow (5 hours). Management needs to insist that twosomes join to improve pace of play.
Very well-maintained course
As someone who resumed golf a few months ago after a 20 year hiatus, I appreciate the playability of this course for any level player. It is always in excellent condition.
Great course!!!
First, I have to note that the other people that were supposed to play with me didn't show up so I was a single during this round. I was surprised that the range was wide open so I was able to really warm up and truly see how the ball was flying for me. The greens were really slow and forgiving, yet still challenging. I have an 18 hadicapp so I like a challenge, but still want to enjoy the course. The fairways were in great shape for the time of year. We had snow just a few days prior, but you couldn't tell from the course conditions. I did have a problem with the sand traps. The were not maintained, but to be fair, I'm pretty sure that was because of the snow in days prior. Phenomenal course, with beautiful scenery. I had a blast playing here and I will be back!!
Great sight lines...
Other than the fact the temp dropped 20 degrees and the wind speed increased by 20 mph during our 3.5 hour round (with snow pellets falling at the 18th...lol), it was a very enjoyable course. Despite the greens having been recently aerated, fairways and bunkers were in excellent shape so the course played very well. There are enough forced carries, doglegs, and blind shots to make the course challenging and fun! We will certainly play this course again when we are next visiting family in Erie.
I wish this was a little bit closer to Denver
If this course was closer to Denver, I'd be here every other weekend, if not every weekend.
The staff here are very friendly and accommodating, we had a slight frost delay, but they got us out as quickly as they could, they even let us go a little later so we could hit some balls when the range opened up.
We never waited on any hole and no one ever waited on us. So Pace was excellent.
The course has a number of holes where you can select different clubs off the tee depending on your overall strategy. And the closing holes are sneaky challening with a Par 3 that has a forced carry over water with a narrower green than you would think, and it plays long. Then a Par 5 on 18 where left is dead and in the drink, but with a good tee shot you could play a gentle long shot draw up the right to try and get there in 2.
The greens were in good shape for the early season and they have some undulation but are not insanely tricked up.
There is a full bar and restaurant on site and an excellent practice facility with grass tees, even in March, and an ample putting and chipping green.
If the drive doesn't bother you this is one of the better values in Denver.
good fairways, fair greens
Great fairways, however, the greens had recently been worked on and were a bit bumpy in some areas. But overall it was in pretty good condition.
Learn to Drive 101
Some of the houses are a little close to the course, but this teaches you to look where you are driving and really try for the straight shots.
Beautiful course with a good mix of sand traps.
Play it when you can get a deal
Snagged one of the great deals; makes this course worth it for sure. Opening holes can be a challenge; some long par-4s and on 5 of the first 6 holes you can see the surface of the green on your approach.
TCGC
Long and challenging track. Good clubhouse and pro shop. No holes that blow you away esthetically but it's generally well priced. Not my favorite but not a bad place to get some swings in either.
Putting
Course in nice shape for this time of year. Some of the hole locations are extreme due to all the slope in the greens.
First Time - Will Return
First time to Todd Creek. Course was in great shape for April 2nd. Greens were soft, fairways were in decent shape. Booked online, but was advised at the pro shop to use the course booking client to save some $$$.
Two critiques - range balls were included in the fee, but none were on the range. Had to wait 15 minutes or so before piles were refilled. That was however due to being short staffed as the outside staff was scrambling. Understandable for early season.
Other critique is the number of ball marks on the greens. This was a huge disappointment. Our group fixed anywhere between 8 - 10 marks per green. Sometimes more. Golf shop would be wise to instruct players to clean up after them selves OR put a reminder on the GPS once players get to the green. Maybe both! None the less, the damage players had done to greens was really disheartening.
All things considered, Todd Creek is a nice facility, challenging holes and was a great value! I'll be back.
Terrible Pace of Play Ruins It
A slow group 5 groups ahead ending up causing everyone else to suffer painfully slow play. Over 3 hours on the front 9. Overall, the course seems to be used by very casual players with little concern for (of knowledge of?) proper course etiquette.
Staff is non-existent. No starter, no ranger, no beverage cart.
Would not recommend even at a deal price. Much better options available.
Reasonable
Wrong day. Rainy and cold
Layout and pace of play is good ( who wants play in rainy day)
Green is horrible but considering it is beginning
time of the season.
Good Winter Golf
The course is in good shape, but the wind made for a challenging round.
