Todd Creek Golf Club
About
Arthur Hills designed the 18-hole golf course at the semi-private Todd Creek Golf Club (previously known as Heritage Todd Creek Golf Club). Opened in 2007, the golf course is 7,435 yards from its championship tees. Nestled near the Rocky Mountains, Hills used the natural landscape to create an exceptional course. Native grasses and wetlands make up the course's rolling terrain, which undergoes several changes in elevation. A creek also creates water hazards on the course while adding to the peaceful atmosphere. Undulating fairways and strategically placed bunkers also add interest to Todd Creek Golf Club. Golfers can enjoy spectacular views of the Rockies while playing this challenging, but fun course.

Pin flags are wind socks.... blowin' in the wind. Photo submitted by Sam Sherstad on 07/24/2013
Well maintained links style course.
Links course in good condition. Fairways are smooth; rough is thick but mown. Greens rolled very well. Barely any trees. Course defense is the rough, well placed bunkers and elevated greens. Free range balls on a range that has targets, but tough to gauge the distances. Nice putting green and chipping area. Will play again!
Long and difficult course.
This course is very long, the rough is very deep, and just about every green seems to be set up to cause as much pain for the average player as possible. Even if you can hit your drive 250 to 300 yards you still have to get it in the fairway or you're screwed. The blue grass rough grabs the club face, which makes chip shots onto the highly sloped greens problematic at best. Even if you can hit the green, the ball will often roll off into the rough or one of the deep hard packed green side bunkers. I really don't think courses for the average amateur need to be this long and difficult. After 5+ hours, waiting on every hole, I just wanted it to be over.
They treat you as if you are a club member.
From the time I dropped my bags at the curb I was treated as if I was a member of a club. They offered to carry my bag to the cart area and apologized for not having a cart ready at that time. When the cart arrived it was freshly cleaned and stocked. The starter was very helpful with advice on how to approach the course. It's not an easy course but not overly difficult if you stay on the fairways. The hole locations seamed tough that day with a lot of pins at the crest of rises on the green. They must have had Merion on their minds when they set the pin locations that day. Overall it was a very pleasant round.
Fun course, some confusing holes from the tee.
We played right after a CWGA tournament, so that might have effected conditions. Greens were in great shape. For some reason, often the distances on the golf cart's gps (and my skycaddy) were considerably different than the markers in the ground, way more than gps inaccuracy would account for. Only real complaint was the conditions of the bunkers. It looked like they only needed to be raked to soften them up, but they were hard. All of our 4some really enjoyed our meals in the restaurant. Include dinner in your round!
Excellent shape, very fast greens
Played from the white tees, which was still a challenge. Sunday set-up, and greens were very fast. Fairways were very nice, rough was challenging but not jail. Pace of play was good, we were the slow group. They tier the prices charged for the time of day, which is an excellent feature more courses should adopt. Since we were a twilight group, the fee was very reasonable for the quality of the course.
Hidden Jewel
Todd Creek is the hidden Jewel of the Denver metro courses. The wife and I play 80 plus rounds a year and play many courses. This is one of our favorites. The staff have always been freindly and professional. The course is in great shape and very challenging. Pace of play is average around 4 and half hours. We recommend this course to everybody who plays!
Much better options in the area
Played it for the first time Sunday and was disappointed. While it is well maintained, the course is generally boring and uninspired. Wide open, with little trouble aside from some bunkers. Only real challenge was the greens although the pin placements were comical - many positions on crowns of green, meaning that if the putt was long, it would roll 10 feet away on the other side. Fun for miniature golf, silly for a real golf course. The back 9 is a little better, but there any many better options in the area - Colorado National, Buffalo Run, Riverdale Dunes, Broadlands, Legacy Ridge are all superior courses and within 10 miles of Todd Creek. Friendly staff and decent rate ($47 on GolfNow) but not worth passing up other, better courses near by.
Enjoyable course to play
A challenging course with forgiving fairways and well-guarded greens. Greens in great shape with only a few winter-recovering areas but is maintained well. Will def play again and again and clubhouse feels like a resort with space for many and awesome views of mountains. Club sandwich was outstanding.
Pin placement can kill
Great track and not too difficult until you get to the greens. The greens rolled true and were in great condition but the pin placements are tricky. A lot of ridges and double breaking putts. All round awesome course for the money. Wouldn't hesitate to return.
The greens are in superb condition, great course!
Course is very well maintained and very challenging. Pace of play on a Thur afternoon was great, 18 holes in 3.5 hours.
This course has good holes and the environment
This course has good holes and the environment. But needs more water fountain.
course lacked definition
pace of play was way too slow. lots of dandelions in the fairways. very little character on the front nine. greens in good condition. very fair on the slope. last four holes were the only holes that stood out.
Very impressed
I've played ~20 courses in the Denver area so far this year. Todd Creek is my favorite. The course is in pristine shape! I'm playing there again tomorrow. Side note: get a cart, I was gonna walk, glad I didn't. Holes are spread out.
sculpted fairways
The fairways were full of rollers and hills which makes ball location critical. Greens were well maintained and challenging.
Beautiful Course!! A must see and play
Beautiful Course!! A must see and play. Great views long par 4s and 5s challenge long iron game. Beautiful clubhouse and staff.
Course conditions and amenities.
The one criticism is the lack of drinking water on the course.
Odd greens
A great golf now deal for what is a really nice facility. But the greens were strange, shaggy and slow and honestly not well designed. Too much slope with pin placements that would be overkill on the PGA tour and many hidden behind mounds for a blind approach. Odd considering the primary clientele here is middle aged people, the course winds through a 55+ community.
Tough
I spent a lot of time at the beach this weekend... Or so it felt. This course had bunkers everywhere, and it felt impossible to miss at times. Scorecard wise, worst round I have played in 3 years, fun wise, lets go again! I enjoy getting beat by the course, and this one whipped my butt. It's an awesome nice place to get beat though.
This course was wide open
We love this course and love that they are on GolfNow. Worth the 35 minute drive. Will definitely play there again!!
Nice Course
Very comparable to other courses in the area but better rates. I would definitely play here again.
