Todd Creek Golf Club
About
Arthur Hills designed the 18-hole golf course at the semi-private Todd Creek Golf Club (previously known as Heritage Todd Creek Golf Club). Opened in 2007, the golf course is 7,435 yards from its championship tees. Nestled near the Rocky Mountains, Hills used the natural landscape to create an exceptional course. Native grasses and wetlands make up the course's rolling terrain, which undergoes several changes in elevation. A creek also creates water hazards on the course while adding to the peaceful atmosphere. Undulating fairways and strategically placed bunkers also add interest to Todd Creek Golf Club. Golfers can enjoy spectacular views of the Rockies while playing this challenging, but fun course.

MIXED REVIEWS
USED GOLFNOW FOR BETTER RATES. CONDITIONS AS EXPECTED FOR MID FEBRUARY. I CALLED TO CHECK ON COURSE CONDITIONS BEFORE MAKING RESERVATION THRU GOLFNOW. I WAS TOLD COURSE WAS OPEN AND THERE WAS NO TEMPS. BUT WAS NOT TOLD THAT IT WAS CART PATH ONLY. I WOULD NOT HAVE PLAYED IF I WAS TOLD. THIS RULE ONLY SLOWS PLAY. COURSES SHOULD TELL GOLFERS BEFORE MAKING RESERVATIONS WHETHER THIS RULE IS IN EFFECT. I WOULD RATHER WALK THAN USE A CART UNDER THIS
RULE.
Top tier course
Great practice facilities, best in the area. Tee to green in phenomenal shape. Wide open fairways. Greens are peanut shaped usually set at diagonal, so your second shot needs the right distance to hold green. Greens are firm and fast with some ridges.
In great shape for winter
enjoyed this round a lot. surprised it was in as good of shape as it was for the winter. Lots of options for tee boxes. good for women as tee boxes give them a better chance to compete.
Misquoted price
I booked to play Todd creek on Monday night. The price given from golf.now was $8. When I arrived at the course the club said that golf.now had made a mistake and the cost was $18 which I paid and have the receipt.
Just a little disappointed that I was quoted one price and paid another.
Just started using golf.now and have been impressed until now
Todd Creek
Challenging golf course. One of the best golf courses i ever played. Friendly staffs. Good services. Best value for the money. Sometime, people are moving too slow. Have to wait.
Great course for some variety
I live in Boulder so mostly play courses nearby but had been wanting to get to this course since it was added to Golfnow. Finally got out there and it was great to be on a new course that was definitely not "park style" and had some great features.
Overall the course was in good shape, not pristine but definitely above average for this area. Some nice elevation changes and a good use of hazards makes it interesting to play.
I will definitely return to play this course again.
Lovely
I always want to play there everyday, but I live in Lakewood...:-(
My dad love it.... It's very worth....
usually ok, some waiting, cart died this time
I do like this course and played here at least 6 times but today the cart died mid 16th hole. cant say I have ever had a cart run out of juice before. tee time was at 2:00 and we would have finished at dusk without waiting and cart issues. tried calling the clubhouse at 5:30 (sunset at 6:15) with no answer three times. sat wondering what to do for about 15 minutes before we decided to remove the bags and walk back to the clubhouse. luckily after letting the cart sit for the 15 min we gave it a another shot and the cart had enough built back up to crawl non-stop to almost the clubhouse, pace was really slow today, waited a lot at tee box and no marshal at all, not even at the first tee to check in so it makes sense that we were backed up most of the day. we paid $26 and that included range balls, good value typically but cart without juice isn't acceptable. because of the battery we could not finish, but even then it would have been tough with the backup ahead of us. for what it's worth we did have some ego guy thinking he could hit 250 yrds to the green and waited for it to clear but every time duffed it 50yrds, anyway we left the cart short of the clubhouse and the attendant was more that apologetic and gave us $56 in credit. apparently we weren't the only ones with a dying cart, the reason they gave was GPS and three sets of turns... anyway I have enjoyed playing here playing here and the range balls added this year add value, the play has slowed down a lot though and they are understaffed, at least in the shoulder season. not having anyone to answer the phone to help with a dead cart is kind of a game breaker from a customer service point of view. yes, it's not a country club, but you should have someone on the phone until sunset if people are still on the course, not having the same guy working the cart return... we should have been able to score 18 holes starting at 2 with a 6:20 sunset, but didn't. even with the credit it leaves a bad taste because last few times we found ourselves standing around waiting to swing. the waiting is not as bad as Colorado National but they need to nip it now or it will be sooner or later.
Good course, greens need attention.
Don't know if its all the rain but this links style course was very moist. The greens need serious work on the pitch marks. Fairways were green and in very good condition. Rough is thick and heavy. Took 5 min to find ball in primary rough 2 ft off fairway. Lay out is good, holes are interesting. Need marshals on the course twosome in front of us started letting their kid play on the back nine. Kid was 6 or 7, hacked the snot out the one of the bunkers and the "adults" didnt ever rake it. Overall would play it again at the golfnow discount rates.
greens tough shape!
nice day greens need work great value good tee time
Good Course to play
Good Course for a wide range of skills.
The course was in very good condition - a big part of this was due to all the rain that Colorado had just received.
However, We have played the course before, and it has been in good shape, anyway.
---
Many interesting holes, with shot placement critical on some, but a very playable course.
---
Have played this course numerous times - have always enjoyed it.
Very good for the Northern Denverites
Great course and was challenging for me being the first time on it but it was fair. Conditions were good, free balls to warm up is always a bonus, I will be back again
Price and pace of play exceptional
Course grounds seemed unusually hard, from fairways to greens. With all the rain we had we thought the greens especially would be more forgiving. The price was great though and pace was exceptional.
great bang for buck
best deal in the front range right now in my opinion. Free range balls, cart w/GPS, low traffic, @ great price ($18 thru golf now).. sshhh!! dont tell everyone
nice course
Nice course with several challenging holes. Difficulty depends on which tees you hit from, particularly on some long carries over large hazards. They had just aerated so the price was reduced and putting was challenging. Great practice facility too.
Great value; well-maintained; far from Denver
This was my first trip to Todd Creek. It was a challenging course (played from the Blues) and was in very nice shape. Greens had just been aerated, but this was disclosed on golfnow.com's website and was not a surprise. As this was my first time driving out to the course, I found it a bit far from downtown Denver. For the money, I'd rather play Thorncreek, which is closer and is also an exceptional value for the $.
Enjoyed the course
Nice links style course with some good risk and reward holes like #18. Starters were super friendly and helpful as was Ian in the bar where we enjoyed a $1.00 draft by showing the score card. Tee boxes, fairways and greens are in very good shape even though the greens had been recently punched. 6 tee boxes to choose from, My wife thought that the front nine had some long holes for the ladies but the back nine is very lady friendly. Reminds me of Buffalo Run. Good value and will play the course again if we are ever in that area. The only negative is that there are no signs to turn in to the golf course and we only saw the cart girl on 18 holes.
Great course and great staff!
It was my first time playing this course, and I was not dissapointed. The staff was very friendly and the course was great. My only complaint was the aerated greens. Made putting very difficult.
It was a very challenging course which was great. Tee boxes and fairways couldn't have been more perfect. Great views from every hole. We will definately be back to play here again.
Is this Indiana? No...just an outstanding course in Colorado
If you're looking for mountain golf and significant elevation changes, you can find that many places in the greater Denver area. While Todd Creek does not have that, it honestly has everything else. I'm not sure what stood out more: The friendly employees, the fun layout, the condition of the Kentucky Bluegrass fairways? Honestly, I have a hard time picking out one thing because my experience was just that good. And just because Todd Creek is not mountain golf, does not mean it won't challenge you. Bunkers are strategically placed and greens are not easy to hit, even with a wedge or short iron. Also, you must respect a golf property that openly warns you of aerification as openly as Todd Creek does. That said, I teed off less than 72 hours after the greens were punched and the course played extremely fair. There was also an outing going on when I played and the staff made sure I was not affected by the slower play that can come with those gatherings. I'd play this course 99 times out of 100 over Riverdale down the road, because the experience and value is so good.
Great course for all levels of play!
Beautiful course, excellent condition and fun to play.
