Great Twilight Round
4:00 tee - twosome walked in 3:30. Course in very good shape, green a little slow. Will play again.
Bad course design in bad condition
Every hole is a narrow chute carved out of the woods and completely bordered by trees on both sides. They don’t bother to cut the rough so you can miss the narrow fairways by a foot and never find the ball. The greens roll like an old shag carpet. Stay away

First time
Very narrow but fun course. Have to be ballstriking well. A first shot course. Wish I played a bit better but it was fun. Greens were slow

Good all around
Cart pricing is a little high at $20 per player rather than per cart, but course is overall very well kept, good layout and the greens were well taken care of

Don't be afraid
The course is very narrow, but with relatively straight shots it is possible to play with just 1 ball. It is fun and challenging. So far the course conditions this summer have been spectacular for a public course. Some of the other guests could be a little more respectful of fixing ball marks on the greens.

Snails pace of play
If not waved thru with 4 holes to play would have likely played a 5 hr round! Great greens ruined by golfers not repairing divots. Fairways in good shape but the rough is ridiculous. Trees (course named the “Woods” for a reason) make fairways tight enough without the need for PGA quality rough just off the fairways. It is just as much trouble locating your ball in the 2 plus inches of rough as it is to find it in the trees. On several holes you can easily be standing in the fairway to address your ball yet barely see it (reason not more than three star rating). There should be a first cut then secondary rough. If the only place to easily find your ball is in the fairway it’s no wonder you get 2 groups waiting on tee boxes at once. Have played course often in the past and never seen the rough this deep or the pace of play so slow. Others in my group said they’ve crossed this course off, “too aggravating “.

Pace of play only a turtle could love
Almost 5 hrs to finish round. Would have been 5 hrs if we weren’t waved thru with 4 holes to play. Had our group and group behind both waiting on same tee box twice. Nobody playing this course seems to own a divot repair tool. Greens superintendent keeps greens in great shape but he can’t repair everyone’s ball marks! Trees make this course tight and difficult enough without ridiculous rough. Several holes I’m standing in the fairway and hitting a ball that is barely visible in the rough. No first cut of rough here. That’s ok across the street at the Links but that’s bs at the Woods.

the fake birds in the ponds
The white tees were all being reseeded. also the sand bunkers had rocks the size of golf balls.

tight fairways
Once the 3 "golfers" left after the front 9 the pace of play was great. Played this course in late May and the conditions were better. No one fixes their ball marks and the greens are starting to get beat up There were a lot of 2somes and 3somes on the course that should be paired up for pace of play.

Course was well kept. In the heat shouldn’t allow walkers. Makes for a much longer round or ranger should let faster players play through
