Tight fairways
Tree lined fairways so accuracy is important. Course is in good condition with fairways and greens playable.
Wonderful experience for all players.
My husband and I played this course at the end of April. The course was is very good condition for the time of year. Even though the greens were just airated, they were filled making putting easy if a little slow and a little bumpy. Can’t wait to go back when greens are ready!
The tee boxes were perfect. The fairways trimmed and lush. The rough, well it’s rough.
The staff is fantastic. Very nice, accommadating, friendly. They seem genuinely friendly. I can’t wait to go back.
Woods at Cherry Crick.
Good Pace Of Play, No Pressure. Just under 4 hour round for foursome. Good Features, landscaping crews were removing leaves promptly while we were on course. This affected our pace of play once or twice but the course was in great shape. Staff was friendly, starter was A+
You do need to use the range across the street at the links course but that was a non issue for us. Just make sure you alot time for that.
Stonewalls Restaurant service was top notch and the food/drinks were solid. The open faced steak sandwich was great. Prices were reasonable as well.

It is a good course, in good condition, with a good layout. BUT, it is tight, which would be OK, if the fairway bunkers were removed on tight holes. It’s too much and not necessary. Those holes are already challenging. Adding fairway bunkers is just not smart. On #3, a long tight par 5, there are so many fairway bunkers, it is ridiculous. One actually cuts across the fairway in the landing area for a good drive. Why? As I said, good course, nice variety of holes. Nice greens. But a tight course already turns off a bunch of players. I don’t mind a tight course but the additional bunkering is just over the top.
