Ridge/Trail at Blue Ridge Trail Golf Club
About
There are 27 holes of championship golf available at Blue Ridge Trail Golf Club. They are divided into three nines, naturally named Blue, Ridge and Trail, that are played in different 18-hole combinations. The holes have an advantageous setting amidst mountains and trees, offering both privacy and scenery. The setting is made even more peacefully secluded by the fact that there are no parallel fairways throughout the entire golf course. The holes were carefully carved from the forests and hillsides, providing each nine with a different character. With four water holes, the Ridge/Trail combination has the most water of any of the courses. There are also strategically placed bunkers throughout but the towering, mature trees present the most formidable challenges. The course starts off rather gently with the player-friendly Ridge, but becomes progressively more difficult on the back nine.

Golfer Reviews
Impressive
Impressive course. Variety of hole layouts with different types of challenges. Large multiple break greens. Great overall course conditions.
Great golf and outstanding value
We played the Blue and Ridge 9s. The Blue was in far better condition. With the high heat and lack of rain, all public courses are struggling with course conditions. Blue Ridge Trail is normally immaculate and right now I would call it good conditions but off it's normal. The greens were spongy in places. The views are lovely and the staff is friendly and helpful. Certainly an amazing value with rates far below the norm. Will be coming back for sure.
Always an enjoyable round at Blue Ridge
Was able to get a very good GolfNow deal for a 10:30 tee time and was able to use some of my rewards also. We were originally scheduled to play Trail then Blue but before we went out the starter found out Trail was a little backed up. He then just sent us out on Blue which was open a little before tee time. After Blue, Trail had cleared so they sent us there. Course was in good shape considering the recent weather and due to the staff's helpful, flexible scheduling, we had a very enjoyable round in less than 3.5 hours. These guys really know there business.
The course was well maintained

Blue Ridge Trail Golf Club
I was very happy that I decided to play here. Beautiful course with 3 separate 9 hole courses. The course is very scenic and offers a great challenge. The staff is very friendly and is very buttoned up at the first tee. It took 5 hours to play 18 which was the only negative. I wish a Ranger had been watching the slow play in front of us. I will play this course again when I'm back in the area.
