Ridge/Trail at Blue Ridge Trail Golf Club
About
There are 27 holes of championship golf available at Blue Ridge Trail Golf Club. They are divided into three nines, naturally named Blue, Ridge and Trail, that are played in different 18-hole combinations. The holes have an advantageous setting amidst mountains and trees, offering both privacy and scenery. The setting is made even more peacefully secluded by the fact that there are no parallel fairways throughout the entire golf course. The holes were carefully carved from the forests and hillsides, providing each nine with a different character. With four water holes, the Ridge/Trail combination has the most water of any of the courses. There are also strategically placed bunkers throughout but the towering, mature trees present the most formidable challenges. The course starts off rather gently with the player-friendly Ridge, but becomes progressively more difficult on the back nine.

Beautiful
Lots of wildlife on the course seen like ten deer conditions were amazing only thing I didn't like was the old man at the clubhouse we booked the round through genesis golf pre paid and he didn't believe we payed also we were like 2 minutes late for the tee time with the course empty and was giving us attitude and telling us to hurry but I told them we are fast golfers and will catch up to the group ahead which we did on the 3rd hole than waited 10 mins a hole but loved the golf course especially the 18th
Blue Ridge
A real gem
Great layout nice greens
Challenging but not devilishly so
Got off early and played in less than 3 hours
Just keep in the fairway!
Great Day
We were paired with a very nice couple for 9 of our 18 holes. On number 7, my husband hit a hole in one! Happy Gilmore style- he hit too far left, the ball bounced off a tree, then on the cart path, then bounced off a big rock and projected the ball onto the green and IN THE HOLE! What a perfect day. We love Blue Ridge Trail.
One of NEPA's finest!!
First time at BRT this year and it didn't disappoint. Played 18 with a friend in just over 3 hours. We got lucky! S/o to Jeff for that though. The course was greener than most at this time. Maintained very well, as always. I recommend Blue Ridge to everybody!!
Even though it rained
From the friendly staff making my experience enjoyable to the GPS equipped cart, to the well marked trail, the incredible views, challenge of the course and its condition, I was very pleased.
great deal
Course was in good condition, except for the putting greens. They weren't in the best shape but you could tell they were fixing them. Food and pace was excellent on the course.
Blue Ridge
Course in very good shape except for the greens they were aerated
Nice course, terrible pace of place
This was my first time playing this course. Overall it was a nice course and was in decent shape. The pace of play was horrendous with our round being 5 hours and 45 minutes on a Saturday mid day. Not sure it's worth spending that amount of time on the course.
Course was great
First time playing, saw advertisements on TV. Glad I took the drive, about 45 mins. Worth every penny. Great staff, course was in great shape. Fairways were neat and well maintained. Greens were also in good shape, they had just aerated one of the nines we played, but still fantastic. Very reasonably priced, can't wait to go back!
Wonderful Course, bad weather
I have played this course before which made me want to return. However the weather got worse as we played. Highly recommend playing this course if you have a chance on a nice sunny day.
Superb course conditions
From the manicured bunker areas to the tee boxes, fairways and greens, this course has it all. much variety with 27 holes. Beautiful scenery and very courteous staff.
A locker room would be a welcome addition but doesn't take away from why you come there.
A great experience
What a pleasure to play this course. Course conditions from tee to green were the best I played all year. Greens were fast and a challenge. Can't wait to play again.
Good course, bad timing on my part
I booked my late afternoon tee time at lunch time since I had nothing to do the rest of the day. I got there around 2:30-2:40 for a 3:12 tee time and was immediately told I could go out behind a threesome that was just about to tee off, which was fine with me. Playing as a single, I knew I'd be behind a regular group. The blue nine, which I played first, was in good shape, but the greens had been aerified recently and were bumpy and sandy. Otherwise, that nine was in great shape. After finishing the blue, I was told to go to ridge 3 to start my back nine because a tournament was still finishing up. Not a huge deal, but slightly annoying to not play the course in order. But I got to play 1 and 2 at the end, so I still got the proper 18 holes in so I can post a GHIN score. This is a popular course that hosts a lot of tournaments, so it was my own fault for not calling ahead to make sure the course was open. Despite the tournament, I still played at a brisk pace as a single and really have no complaints. I'll be back again multiple times before the fall is over.
Hidden gem
We played Trail then Ridge. Ridge was more challenging but still very playable. Awesome condition. We will be back in the future to play Blue. Worth the 1 1/2 drive (one way).
Weekend round with son
{Played the Ridge/Blue courses) Each of the 9s we played had features that can challenge you but play fair. The GPS cart is a great added feature. Well worth your trip!!
Nice course
Matt helped us out, we were late for our tee time. The starter did not even put our bags on the cart.
Wonderful golf course
The course is really good condition.
The layout is really fun and beautiful.
Beautiful Mountain course
Excellent course, excellent staff. Elevation changes and rough configuration make for a challenging round.
