Trail/Blue at Blue Ridge Trail Golf Club
About
Blue Ridge Trail Golf Club boasts 27 holes of championship golf that are played in three 18-hole combinations. The three different nines are natural named Blue, Ridge, and Trail. Tucked away in the hills of northeastern Pennsylvania, the golf courses provide stunning scenery and views. All of the holes were carefully carved from the surrounding woodlands and molded into the hillsides. An abundance of trees characterizes the course, giving all of the holes a secluded feel that is further enhanced by the design, which doesn't feature any parallel fairways. The Trail/Blue Course combines the shortest and longest nines but both are considered slightly more challenging than the Ridge nine. The Trail nine possesses two of the four water holes at the club. There is a combination for every skill level and four sets of tees make the nines even more accommodating.

Amazing course but lacks because of pace
No matter what time of day you go here no matter the season, it seems like pace of play is always poor. One should not have to wait 5-10 minutes on every hole before taking their next shot. This goes for the early tee times as well as the packed twilight rounds. Even if the parking lot is empty on a weekday morning, it still somehow manages to be backed up on pace. If they solved this the course would be so much better
Way too slow
I had a tee time before 7:00 and this was the longest pre-7:00 round I’ve ever experienced and it was solely because this course doesn’t know how to manage a tee sheet with their 3 9s. We played the front in under 2 hours we get to the 10th tee and it’s a standstill. Every hole on the back 9 we watched the 2 groups in front of us play the hole and saw 2 groups on the hole behind us. Didn’t think the groups in front of us played slow at all. This course overloads the tee sheet and pushes players off before you at the turn. It’s a shame it’s a nice, fun, and reasonably priced course but hitting a wall after the turn was a horrible experience. If people cant play a 4 hour round at this course teeing off before 7:00, I can’t imagine what the pace the rest of the day looks like.
Amazing Property + Golf course
Don't pass up a chance to play Blue Ridge Trail, amazing mix of holes, GPS on the carts. Outstanding course for what they charge.
Horrible crew of starters
Went as a single today tee time was at 8am arrived at 7:30 checked into club house as I’m leaving the older Italian guy was radioing out to the starter guys at the carts letting them know I’m on my way out that I’m a single and they need to get me out asap. When I walk down the sidewalk to get my cart the guys pulling it up rushing me telling me I have to hurry they going to pair me up with a duo. I wasn’t able to warm up with acouple practice putts I wasn’t able to stretch I had to run as I’m getting my clubs from the car the guys waving his arms at me like I’m late that I need to hurry so I looked at the time and it was 7:43! 17 minutes before my tee time. I got to the front and the starter jumped into my cart and started almost yelling at me to go catch up with a group that just teed off so what I don’t get to start at hole 1? Not sure put I thought golf was a game of patience being that I’m rushed how am I supposed to have a good round especially after being treated not right by nasty older guys. I figured they have 27 holes should be no problem getting ppl out I guess the older brains don’t work as well as the youngin. Played blue ridge many many time bunch of tournaments great place but sad to say I will not be going back for the simple reason of nasty, rude completely uncalled for rushing and adding of ppl.
Also not the only on it happed to as we’re in the middle of hole 2 the starters drove another single down to pair up with me bad enough I lost 1 hole he had to lose 2 after paying for 18 something has to be done about this the rudeness of the older guys is disgusting the young bucks never had a problem always nice and courteous
Slow play
We love playing Blue Ridge beautiful, but they cram too many people we waited about 5 to 10 minutes on every hole all 18 there was 3 twosomes in front of us and it was brutally slow waiting why they weren’t paired up I don’t know why.
Disappointed that the trail course greens were just aerated. Slow, sandy, bumpy
One of the best I’ve played!
Top 5 course in all of Pennsylvania! Course layout and views are great! Must play!
