Excellent days golf
we've played Fairwinds numerous times and this was yet another very enjoyable game on an excellent course. Greens were in great condition and it was noticeable how much work the ground staff have recently put in claering up the brush and areas skirting the hazards.
Slow and loud
While the staff was great and the course was in good shape, the pace of play was brutal, getting jammed on on 18, with three separate groups. Total play took over 4 hours and 18 minutes.
The only other negative was the constant noise from airplanes taking off at the Ft Pierce Airport.
Slow greens! Light top dressing but exceptionally slow

Great Day with My Son
I have played Fairwinds a few times and it does not dissappoint however today was a bit puzzling with a mixed league playing at 8am. The pace was over 5 hours and even with an early tee time, you would think they would send the general public off the back but nope. We went out as a twosome and every hole was a sold 5-7 minute wait and longer on par 3s. Front side is relatively easy with back and forth fairway. Back 9 is a different animal with dog legs, water in play on several holes and tree lines fairways but a good driver will shoot low scores as you can cut most danger and bout 40-60 yards of second shots and par 5's are reachable in two. Signs say no personal coolers however they do not have cart service so make sure you get your drinks at the shack before heading out...especially if you play again on a Friday.

Got a great deal on Golf Now!! Good course and in great shape! My friends played it for the first time and fell in love. Be wary of 18-such a tough hole into the wind.
