Great course, quiet place for beginners
This is a favorite of ours, my wife is in the learning process. I play my irons while she builds her game. A very nice layout with some water that cause your to play cautiously. It never disappoints and afternoons are generally light.
Nice Local Course
Island Pines, for its age, it is well maintained. Love the layout, makes you hit the ball straight or it will be lost. Lots of water and mature growth trees line the fairways. I enjoy playing here.
fun day
Joe the manager is always friendly and the Greens are in best shape I have ever seen them
and I have been playing this course since 2016
needs some work on tee boxes but I think they are working on that very enjoyable
Great Golf Club Open to the Public
Island Pines is a very good older course. Not too challenging but has some interesting layouts that could be a challenge to some.
Surpsingly Nice
Greens are spectacular shape. Quick, great condition with all the cold weather in southern FL. Tee boxes okay and fairways so-so, but as I understand it, they have new golf management there and conditions getting better and better. Very interesting layout. Shortish course with plenty of water and challenges. You will really enjoy the place
Patrick Cunningham
I was very happy with you special terms. It’s been hard to get a tee time that allows me to get home at 5:00 o’clock. How do I. Call you or text you? I feel lost.
I like the course and the staff..
Course not that busy
Played on 3/09/26 , early tee time. Went out as a single behind three groups of men’s league. Hooked up with another single on hole 2. Pace of play a bit slow , seems the groups ahead spent more time fishing balls out of the ponds, not playing golf. May not try this course again.
Wait time
As a single my t time was not honored. I had to wait to join a group other than my t time group. It was busy and the starter did what he could. So good on him.
Quick fun morning
Good value for the price very friendly staff , pace of play was good. Fairways were a little beat up, greens were in great shape and true and fast.🤙🏻🏌🏼♀️
It is what it is
Booked a hot deal for $35 pp. Went to check in about 25 minutes before my tee time, but was told I couldn't "get a ticket" until 10 minutes before my time. Seemed strange and the lady was a little rude. Course is scrappy, but fun. Greens don't look good, but roll well. I was a little perturbed when the twosome we were paired with were allowed to play by themselves in front of us, but it worked out for pace of play. We played in about 3:30. This Course c wouldn't be my first choice, but it's OK at a good price.
