Goose Pond Colony Resort - Plantation Course

The greens are in the best shape I ever seen a green. True roll and ever green was the same speed. The only set back was the fairways were not in good shape. The course doesnt drain properly in some areas, and it was very muddy in some places. Great fun track not that difficult.

I love coming out to Scottsboro to play this course. It is affordable, very well kept, and is just an all-around fun layout. There is a good mix of difficult and more-forgiving holes. Greens were soft, but rolling like glass. I always recommend a day out there!

The course is in petty good shape for the dry weather we’ve had. The greens were in great condition, good speed of play, great value.

I had a great time playing this course with my son. Course was in great shape and pace of play was fantastic. Awesome value for the money. Terrific layout from all tees. Generous fairways, smooth putting surfaces. A nice variety of holes make this course challenging from the back tees and enjoyable for beginners as well.

As always I enjoyed my round. The fairways are in great shape. The greens were full of sand and as a result putting was a challenge. Otherwise good!

Greens were great, but fast. Fairways were 95%. I shoot around of golf at 86-88. Today i shot 81.

Enjoyed my round. Only issue at all is the hardness of the tee boxes. Other than that, me and the trees had a great time.

Course is in very good shape. Only bit of advice that I could give is to put some water on the greens. They are very firm and a bit on the grainy side for my taste.

This course is in good shape and provides a wide open course layout for a very enjoyable round of golf. Next time you want to get in a good round, consider the Plantation course. You can't go wrong.

Enjoyed the course. The greens are smaller than average but were in great shape. Overall layout is good. Bunkers were also in great shape.

Course was beautiful. Immaculate greens, some of the best I’ve ever played on. A nice open layout, doesn’t punish good misses. Some standing water on some holes, but understandable for all the rain we’ve had. Can’t ask for anything more from a public course, can’t wait to play the Lake Course!

The course is quite open and was a good change for my struggling game. We played the course and had the best.acore of the year even with a few holes I messed up on. The greens were as good as any I’ve played on all year. They were in great shape. I look forward to playing the course again.
