Gunter's Landing Golf Club

Always a beautiful presentation of mountain golf. Do your dead level best to stay below the hole on every green. Only real issue being many fairways continue to be a bit thin for the otherwise top notch tract.

Greens are in excellent shape. It’s a big change for someone who plays relatively flatter courses. Great challenge!

I’ve played many golf courses and the course itself was in perfect shape. The fairways, greens, and collar were in prestine condition. Greens rolled perfectly, fairway lush and even rough was perfect and just the right amount of fluff to hit off of. The vistas were breathtaking in any direction you looked.

There was one hole on the front we did not like and was very difficult for the average golfer to play and some if the par 3 were all carry to the green. Back nine seemed more player friendly. My husband and I liked that the pro shop let us start a little early and play by ourselves. We played in less than 4 hours.

Excellent and GORGEOUS place to play. Greens are perfect. The course is challenging after you get off the first couple of tees. But hey, it’s golf! My friends and I will definitely be back.

Played Gunner's Landing yesterday. Course is in good shape for this time of year. The bermuda fairways are fully dormant and very thin. Greens are in good shape. Bermuda grass - slow up hill and pretty darn fast down hill. Awesome layout and not crowded at all. Had a great day

GolfNow is stupid and so are their workers. Called to change a tee time and they charged me for two tee times the same day. My brother payed for 2 and they counted him as 1 and then they charged us again for our 5th. The front desk at the course could not have been less helpful.

Love the layout of this course. Very challenging with lots of elevation change and plenty of water.

It was another great trip up to Guntersville to play Gunter's Landing. The course was in great shape, and it continues to be a tough place to play if your drives are off. Hope to play it again this coming fall (2026). If it was closer, I would play it more. Truly a great course.

Course conditions were good on all but #18- fairway under repair in midway.

This is a challenging course with fairways surrounded by hazards and significant elevation changes. Pace was good at 4.2 for 18 and we were following 2 fivesomes ! Carts were adequate gas powered and sans the restriction of a gps system.

Really fun course to play. Every hole felt like a different challenge. Went after a heavy rain and the course was still in a good condition. Had to start on back 9, when we got to 1 there was a long queue so we played back twice. Not sure what happened there but it was a good time for sure.

Great layout. Very poorly run. Extremely busy Wednesday and they had no starter and no ranger. Singles and twosomes in amongst 4somes without a ranger all day made for a 5 1/2 hour round at 10:30am

Course is in excellent condition, extremely long for senior ladies. Excellent scenery! Love the greens!
