Great course
Painfully slow 4 some in front of us. What was more brutal is that there was no one in front of them on the back.
Great course
The course is in beautiful condition, it’s challenging and the greens are true to read. Definitely would come back to play again!
Surprised
The course had a nice range. It was a little sponge and the greens were soft but not horribly slow. Could use a restroom or 2 throughout the course and play was amazingly slow. No one really driving around to assure things are running smoothly. But overall not a bad course. I will be back for sure
Greens a bit slow, more on-course maintenance needed
Check-in went smoothly, no issues. Course was in “average” condition compared to similar priced courses in the area. I would call it a below average value.
Hole 1 (photo) shows condition of bunker near green. Yes, it’s been wet, but no excuse for grass growing in bunker.
Course doesn’t have any truly remarkable or memorable holes. Basic municipal back and forth parallel holes occur many times.
Greens should be cut shorter imho. So, overall I was a bit disappointed. $35 would be a good price for this loop.
Nice course but needs a few changes
We liked the course and facility for the most part, but being our first time there the cart control feature became annoying any time you got near a tee box or green, that was not near a cart path, and it happened even when you were not that close to them! it disables your cart forcing the driver to go in reverse to get out of a restricted zone. The lack of wayfinder signs to the next hole or a suggested path to take on the onboard GPS system made it worse to try and correct. Not a fan of that. I understand golfers need to be respectful and conscientious where they drive for the sake of the course, but the "big brother" watching your every move and constant warnings is very distracting to your game.
Overpriced but nice enough course
Course is nice, but I went to book online and they want $140 for 2 people to play 18 this year. IMO this is far overpriced for what you get. It’s not country club nice, it’s a farm course 30 mins north of town.
Good course, slow play
The course is nice, great putting area to practice. The people are friendly and helpful. The course is not too hard but fun. One thing I would caution if you play here, it is sloooow, no one manages the people getting on the course, no marshal to help regulate play. That means people get bunched up and their is alot of waiting. Alot of new players or people who have not played before taking much longer than they should. That's where a marshal may suggest to play best ball to keep things going. I also don't see a cart person out there very often.
Farmer's country club
The title is not tongue and cheek. That's what it is in the best possible way. The tee boxes alone tell a lot about a course. Theirs were top notch, flat, lush, roomy, and 4 different options. It's not a difficult course but it does require good strategy. Do that and you will be rewarded. Highly recommend.
