Holiday weekend very busy and pace was very sloww had to wait at each tee box.
Not a good value
The course is a quirky layout. Even at a short yardage the course is not fun to play. The condition of the course was average to poor. Tee boxes were beat up and few were actually level. The fairways were also in fair to poor condition. The greens were fine. The staff was friendly. Over priced green fees, with and definitely without Golf Now, for the experience.
A Top Akron Course
The course has been in great condition every time I’ve played and the staff has been world class. I play here every couple of months and haven’t yet been displeased. The rangers have always tried to keep the pace of play going well , it seems every time someone on the first tee is using a breakfast ball but it’s not the worst thing to deal with. The course offers a wide variety of challenges to mix up your place for the day. The course seems to reward a good short game over big drives. I wouldn’t recommend the course to a new comer to golf due to the slight difficulty it offers but to an average players it’s a day well spent out on the greens with enough challenges to keep you entertained but not ready to pull your hair out.
Not Great...
First off, booked the remaining 2 spots in a foursome on GolfNow. $46 is a little pricey for this course, even if it's in great condition. But, everyone was booked up when trying to get tee time the night before, so here I was.
We head to the tee at our tee time. 3 carts are in front of us at the tee and a twosome in 1 fairway. The starter says, "We're a little behind right now." We asked if we were getting paired up with the other twosome at our 10am time and he said, not unless they show up now. Then another twosome goes down the fairway. Then another. Then another. And at least 1 more behind us after we teed off at 10:20.
We waited 10 plus minutes after every hole to tee off, thru 6 holes. At 12:15 we arrive to 7 tee and the group in front of us is waiting for the group in front of them to tee off. We decide to ask them if they want to pair up and they agree. Which we then find out they were the 10:07 tee time. At about 2 hours and 50 minutes, we drive off 9.
Anyway, the course is in ok condition and the starters don't pair up twosomes. Last resort bookings (or an outing) should be the only reason you end up here. Courses are getting too much play right now to not pair twosomes. AND... charge what your course is worth to play. I will likely never return unless the price is $35 or less.

Beautiful day great course, challenging but don’t have to be an expert. Course was in great conditions , the greens were fast but fair, great course to spend a few hours of the day.
Solid Course
This layout is on the easier side, but it's not boring. It's a short course at 6250 from the tips, which makes it very scorable. Great course for a fun and relaxing round.
Worth the drive
We drove 40 minutes to play this course again. Most holes are different and while the greens are in the smaller side, we enjoyed the challenge.
We will definitely go back soon.
Great course
Very hot day, greens were in nice condition. Course is well kept all around.
