About
Westchester Golf Course is known for its playability, which is further enhanced by five sets of tees that accommodate all skill levels. There are six lakes throughout the course and numerous waste areas filled with wildflowers and native grasses but sand is a more prominent element of the design. There are more than 75 bunkers treacherously lurking beside the greens and fairways. Golfers who manage to avoid the bunkers will find that a good score can definitely be attained thanks to generously sized fairways and only mild undulation in the greens. Although it is seemingly difficult, the layout is more approachable than it looks although it does require straight, accurate shots and a bit of strategy. In addition to the course, Westchester G.C. also offers an expansive practice range and putting green.

Hidden Gem
1st time playing and definitely will play it again now that I know the layout of the holes. Great par 3's and it even plays well from the whites @ 6400 yards. Greens rolled true and consistent speed. Rough was a bit burned out given the lack of rain in the area.
Sunday with my son
Course was in great shape had my best round ever at the course shot 84. Greens were fast but fair. Staff was very friendly and cooperative had a problem with our cart and the staff brought a new one no questions asked. Will play there again
Great Course!
This is a fantastic course, and a great value at $34 on the weekend. The course is in great shape, but you have to really prioritize hitting fairways. The really thick rough starts just to the right of the cart paths.
Pace of play was ok, groups were definitely piled on the course this day.
Fair and consistent any time t
Like many of the courses in Columbus area, condition has gone down slightly overall but still great course with fun layout. Back tee area has been improved significantly but regular teeing area has deteriorated slightly probably due to high traffic and past month of heavy rain. Putting green was good and fairways were good but your ball set down slightly. There were some areas barren but mostly playable. Looking forward to continued improvement of the course. I didn't go in but their new club house (new to me), looked great. Will be back to play again.
Summer has come to westchester
Had a most enjoyable day at Westchester today. While the weather was pushing 90 and humidity about the same, there was a slight breeze to break the heat. Sun was shining brightly... played some green tees for once and the course still seemed long and with obstacles to deal with. The course is immaculate!!!! In prime time shape right now. Traps are groomed as well.. pace of play was very good... just had one of those days a golfer always looks forward to....
Happy to get out
Course was in Good condition. Some wet areas and greens recently aerated, but didn’t negatively impact my appreciation for the opportunity to get out of the house for a round w a good friend
Nice course
Greens still in winter mode. Wouldn't play here til they get em rolled smooth again.
Winter... Still a nice track
Even with winter conditions this course was great. I love the layout.. very fair.. great tee locations and great greens.
Winter golf, always a challenge.
Putting Greens had not recovered well from the Fall aeration, made putting frustrating, normally nice greens.
Regular stop
Good course for hackers like myself. Front nine is easier than the back nine. Fairly flat course with water and bunkers coming into play. Good layout. Many holes surrounded by houses.
Great round of golf
The staff as always are friendly and efficient. The pace of play was good, and two foursomes let us play through. The course condition was good and the layout is fun and great.
Great, balanced course
This one is definitely a hidden gem. Offers a good balance in difficulty and playability, course was in good condition, but the real draw for me was the awesome terrain and layout. It's partially links style, and then partially forested, built into the neighborhood in such a way as to not be too cramped but still offer an enjoyable backdrop. Will be coming back next season for sure.
VERY HARD FROM THE TIPS
From the furthest tees this course is very difficult. 7200 yards and no room right or left. But great course!
Course has gone down hill.
I used to play this course weekly a few years ago and it was always in decent shape. We stopped playing here as the course kept getting worse and worse. Played there recently and probably will not be back there. The course was in terrible shape, greens were all jacked up, fairways, tee boxes were in terrible shape also. It seems like the course has suffered after the clubhouse was built.
Fun course
Fun course, greens are pretty good just have a ton of ball marks in them. Has a good mix of challenging holes and forgiving fairways.
decent course
pretty good shape tho the fairways hadnt been cut in about a week the greens are ok lots of ball marks, some challenging holes all in all a good course for the money
