About
Although Homestead Springs Golf Course is just a few minutes southeast of Columbus, the surrounding countryside provides an idyllic atmosphere. It has a convenient location that is easily accessible from Central Ohio. The course is mostly flat, which makes it easy to walk, but there is some strategic mounding that can cause tricky uneven lies. Overall though, the golf course is not meant to pose an impossible challenge. It has an approachable, player-friendly layout that was designed for all skill levels to enjoy, but there are still a variety of challenges that will keep you on your feet. The course boasts excellent green conditions with putting surfaces that roll fast and true. The greens vary in size from small to medium. Water hazards come into play as well as a few strategically placed bunkers.

I played this course yesterday for the first time in years (sidelined from golf for health reasons). Still the same great course, and friendly staff as it was then. I got out late on a Sunday, and was still able to get 18 in really quick. The course was in great shape. Based on tee time availability you can tell this course gets busy on the weekends. I would suggest playing during the week. But Homestead Springs is still the great little track is has been for decades.
Fantastic Condition
This is the only course I’ve played that gets better each time I’m there. The grounds keepers have done a fantastic job! Definitely will be coming back.
Fun Course - Welcoming Staff!
Played this course for the first time and loved it. It’s a bit of a drive from Columbus north side but well worth it. The course is near farmland with a lot of open space which was great. Unlike some of these city courses that have the constant distraction of city sounds. The course was in great shape. Wide open fairways and quick greens. The staff was very friendly and welcoming, they made you feel like a local. Looking forward to playing this course again very soon.
Great course
The course was in great condition from tee to green. The staff and other golfers are always great. They actually put us on the tee box before our tee time.
Short course, good value
The greens were a little wet and slow. If quicker, the course would’ve been much more of a challenge for it being so short. Plays about 6400 yards from tips.
Friday is not day to play this course. We were behind a foursome that took 30 minutes per hole. We passed them , they had 5 parties backed up. Very busy….
