About
Aston Oaks Golf Club is perched atop rolling hills that overlook the Ohio River Valley. The Jack Nicklaus Design Group created the course, which sits on the former land of President William Henry Harrison. Although his presidency was short lived, traces of his legacy in Ohio can be seen throughout the golf course. Each hole was carefully carved from stands of mature white oak, hickory, and other native hardwoods. The course is tight and demanding with fast greens and plenty of elevation changes. The abundance of trees really characterizes the course. Between the 10th tee and the 11th green, there is a giant Buckeye tree that is the largest in the state. With all of the trees lining the fairways there was hardly a need to add bunkers, but there are some incorporated along the greensides that help to define some holes.

Golfer Reviews
Great Course for the Value
Really enjoyed playing Aston Oaks. The course is very well kept and the staff members (inside and out) are very friendly and accommodating. Would definitely return and play this course again soon. Best Value for a course of this caliber.
Very nice course for experienced golfers
I am new to golf. I would really like to come back to this course, but not until I work on my game a bit. Each hole felt very long, so I hope you have some distance on your swing. Beautiful course, well maintained. Made me feel like I was on vacation.
love the cours
love this course. challenging and some holes very tight. Got behind a foursome that were very slow so it was hard to get a good rhythm going. overall, i sucked today but i really love the course and the layout.
Need to do some work on the green fringes. Overall a great and challenging course.
Aston Oaks
Disappointed in the condition of the course this time around. Tee boxes were covered in weeds and were probably over an inch in cut length in most parts.
Has Potential
The course layout is beautiful! The course has so much potential! The greens are so inconsistent and very bumpy. Maybe because it's April the conditions are like this. I would be willing to play it again. The black tees give a great challenge for distance and shot shaping. Loved the layout, but could for sure use some TLC
Aston Oaks
Excellent course, but this time of year the greens and fairways are arraeted so the rating was based on inconsistency today. Otherwise, it’s an excellent test of golf.
Solid course
Third time playing here and it’s still fun to play.
In great condition and all of the staff are great! For a Thursday afternoon pace of play was slow. Maybe start sending foursomes out and pairing people up? Just a suggestion. Otherwise great track to play and will be back for sure.
