About
Aston Oaks Golf Club is perched atop rolling hills that overlook the Ohio River Valley. The Jack Nicklaus Design Group created the course, which sits on the former land of President William Henry Harrison. Although his presidency was short lived, traces of his legacy in Ohio can be seen throughout the golf course. Each hole was carefully carved from stands of mature white oak, hickory, and other native hardwoods. The course is tight and demanding with fast greens and plenty of elevation changes. The abundance of trees really characterizes the course. Between the 10th tee and the 11th green, there is a giant Buckeye tree that is the largest in the state. With all of the trees lining the fairways there was hardly a need to add bunkers, but there are some incorporated along the greensides that help to define some holes.

Love this Course
Really enjoyed this round of golf. The staff was fantastic and made the experience fantastic. The course was in great shape. The greens were in good shape but ... The pin placements were placed in challenging spots. Loved it. LOL. Great time!
Course Condition
Just be prepared to shoot higher than expected because of the greens. They are in a huge need of some help. Probably every other green had multiple ball marks all around. Love the length and layout but man it’s frustrating

Nice Course
Fun course. Don't want to be too harsh with how dry it is and recent outings but it was pretty beat up around the greens. Carts are great with awesome technologies in place. Overall great course.

Course Conditions
Course is getting a lot of play and it shows. Lots of divots in the fairways and tee boxes. There are lots of ball marks on the greens and a true roll is hard to find with all bumps. Layout is good and still a favorite of mine and I guess this is what to expect in late August.

Course isn’t even worth $40 Tee Times
I live right down the street from this course and used to play it all the time.
Normally I’d say it’s a great track, and in years past that it keeps up in pretty good condition. However, it’s seeing way too many outings every week this year and people have clearly not being repairing their divots. Course is in terrible shape!
I do my best to bounce around to different courses to switch it up and these are the worst greens I’ve seen this year and it’s not even close.
Neumann see’s the same amount of outings per week, and is significantly in better shape, and is cheaper.
Should be criminal to charge $70
Overall the course is horribly maintained. Almost all tee boxes completely overgrown with weeds or patchy. Ball marks all over greens making them unplayable. Fairways, fringe and green run ups all in terrible condition

Course is great, but needs a lot of TLC
Greens are covered in divots, making it barely possible to hit a putt over 3 feet. Course was littered with dead patches and cut up fringes.

Too expensive and rough conditions
Course not in great shape. The back nine is fine, but the front nine is not in good shape at all. Too expensive to not be in better shape
