About
Aston Oaks Golf Club is perched atop rolling hills that overlook the Ohio River Valley. The Jack Nicklaus Design Group created the course, which sits on the former land of President William Henry Harrison. Although his presidency was short lived, traces of his legacy in Ohio can be seen throughout the golf course. Each hole was carefully carved from stands of mature white oak, hickory, and other native hardwoods. The course is tight and demanding with fast greens and plenty of elevation changes. The abundance of trees really characterizes the course. Between the 10th tee and the 11th green, there is a giant Buckeye tree that is the largest in the state. With all of the trees lining the fairways there was hardly a need to add bunkers, but there are some incorporated along the greensides that help to define some holes.

The Fairways are Trash!!!!!!
This golf Course is in terrible condition every fairway is burnt the tee boxes ate nothing but Crab grass and mud.... I would not advise any play on this golf course until... the course fix problems... the course should be CLOSED UNTIL FURTH6 NOTICE.... OR SERIOUS DISCOUNT!!!! the Price I paid was not 31 Dollars on a "DEAL TIME" STAY AWAY FROM THIS COURSE UNTIL THE COUSE FIX THE FAIRWAYS AND TEE BOXES.. SOMEONE WILL HURT THEMSELVES BECAUSE FOOT IS TERRIBLE ON TER BOXES AND FAIRWAYS YOU HAVE TO GO 10 TO 20 FOOT TO FIND GOOD TURF ON ALL FAIRWAYS...... AND NO MOST TEE BOXES!¡!!!!!!!!!!
Real gem
A challenging golf course with picturesque backdrops to most golf holes on the Riverside course. A variety of tee placements helps fit golfers of several skill levels without being overly intimidating. Walking this course would be extremely demanding.
Rough fairways
This is the worst fairways in Cincinnati. Couldn’t believe what used to be a nice course went so far downhill.
Nice course - greens in good shape
Considering all the rain, the course is in higher-than-expected shape.
A superb value
Despite the flooding rains over the past few weeks, the course is in great shape.
Nice course love the layout!
Got to the first tee, no starter. Then right as we about to tee off a large group comes up. Says they are making the turn in a tournament let us go in front of them, after being not so polite they were very intoxicated!
For the first 4-5 holes everyone was backed up no where to go but each hole they had to complain to us with their music blasting being obnoxious ruined the whole day for us!
No rangers saw the cart girl on the first hole never again
Really just disappointed used to be well managed!
Course conditions were ok but not like it has been in the past
Cart path only?
I love playing Aston Oaks but was surprised to find that only 2 of the 18 holes with off the cart path. There are several holes that do stay wet due to the many changes in elevation on this course but there were several holes that were fine but still had to stay on the cart path. I understand it was early in the season and the course was using precaution. Still, even with mostly cart path only......still finished our round in about 3.5 hours
Favorite course
I don’t get to play this course as often as I’d like but this is my favorite course in this area. I love the layout and difficulty level. Definitely will continue playing here as much as I can.
