Vidanta Golf Los Cabos

Hard to beat the price but it’s on 9 holes and not the most beautiful course in Cabo. Most of the courses in Cabo are grossly overpriced especially when you’re from Canada and have to pay the USD exchange rates.

This one is much more reasonable but it’s only 9 holes. Playing the 9 twice is ok but not ideal.

Also, watch out as they charge additional $35 USD as mandatory food and beverage when you check in. This brings the price up.

Course is in good condition overall but sand traps are horrible and full of rocks and pebbles.

Loved it. Will play again next time in Cabo.staff are excellent very enjoyable round of golf

This is a nice 9 hole track. The course is in reasonable shape and a nice layout. Our one big complaint was the pace of play. The group ahead were very slow and there was no marshall to move them along.

Interesting and sometimes challenging, layout, decent overall and greens condition, sand a bit gravely, service very good. Limited food options but decent included lunch and beverages. Overall good value.

I want to warn everyone about one of the biggest scams I have been a victim of in San Jose Del Cabo.

It involves the Golf Now app, and the Vidanta golf course.

I booked a round of golf for four of us for the advertised price of $59.00 per person.

I booked the tee time for 7:46 a.m.

it was either that or a time shortly after 12:00 noon to receive “the deal”.

By the time I got to the end after taxes and fees, the total came to just under $79.00 U.S. each.

I had to pay the total amount up front, to receive “the deal”

The next morning, we arrived at the course, to find out our tee time was changed to 7:24 during the booking process.

No time now to warm up, or eat breakfast.

It gets better.

We’re now told by the 20 something girl at the check in desk that there is a mandatory fee of $35.00 U.S. per golfer.

We argued the point, but to no avail.

She said it was in the fine print, so we asked her to show us.

She couldn’t find it anywhere.

We asked to speak to a manager.

Apparently there wasn’t one there, and she refused to call one.

We could either pay the $35.00 U.S. , or we couldn’t golf, and they would not refund our money. ( you have to cancel 24 hours before your round for refund)

The end result is that we paid $114.00 U.S. per golfer for the $59.00 U.S. “deal” to play a cow pasture of a golf course.

The “all inclusive “ is now breakfast OR lunch and FIVE drinks for the whole day.

I strongly recommend you don’t use the GOLF NOW app, or play the VIDANTA golf course.

We’ve played here before and it’s a nice little course to get out and play. But the pace of play was super slow. We got to hole 7 after 2.5

Hours. Way too much wait time

This is one of the only reasonable options available in the entire area. You can expect to pay no less than $250 at any other public course.

Nice to have a decent course at affordable rate in Cabo. Tasty lil snacks at the mandatory convenience stand. ($35 US per person). Course played fine - greens in good condition.

Nice course for the average player and lady.

More difficult than you might expect. Normally fast play but ran into some slow golfers on first nine. Amazingly friendly staff. $30 additional fee for unlimited drinks, snacks, and meal ( in our case 4 delicious tacos) well worth it. If you are looking for a change of pace from fancy resort courses Vidanta won't disappoint you.

I was looking for an “affordable” round of golf in the Cabo area. Vidanta was a good deal compared to surrounding courses. It is a 9 hole course played twice. But I kind of liked that playing for the first time. Holes are somewhat more challenging than I expected with rolling hills and elevated greens. Staff was extremely pleasant and helpful. Conditions were much better than I expected as well. If you are looking for a place to play golf similar to a muni, Vedanta is the best deal in the area. I would definitely be back to play if I’m back in the San Jose/Cabo area.

When we showed up, they had another foursome at our T time and only had our reservation a a single instead of the threesome we had paid for. No apologies, but we did end up squeezing in after our original T Time.

The additional $35 fee for food is apparently apparent when booking, but I was keeping an eye out for it when booking and didn’t see it.

it was hard to figure out what it was for, but basically two drinks before you head out, two drinks at the turn shack, mid round, and the same thing as you go back out for your second nine. From what we could figure out, the food was 2 tacos that were pretty good.

Upon arrival, he said our bags down at backdrop. After a long check in process due to the confusion, we went to the back to figure out carts and found that a bright orange yeti water bottle that was left on top of the clubs in bag drop didn’t make it. There seem to be no real concern about finding it. After the round, they did take our name and phone number, but overall frustrating experience as they seem to not care.

It is by far the cheapest Golf I’ve found in Cabo, but I’m not sure it’s worth the slow play and other hassles

cant complain about our golfing experience at Vidanta Cabo - staff was extremely friendly, although dry - course played pretty challenging (played the 9 hole course twice), pace of play was a bit slow as course was pretty busy but the all inclusive drinks and snacks more than made up for this. Not to mention the great lunch and drinks prior to our round - also part of the all inclusive deal!

Former San Jose municipal course. Shabby condition. No driving range. Forced to pay additional $35 for food and drink that I didn’t want

I knew this was a nine hole course but the guy in front of me used GolfNow too and he didn’t.

When we checked in we were both told “GolfNow - you have to pay extra 35.00US”

When we made the turn to start the second 9 on the same holes we were in back of several groups. All in all a poor experience and not a reference for GolfNow at all.

Pleasantly surprised by this gem. Although a bit dry due to Mexico heat , course played nicely and was a challenge . Staff was amazing and the mandatory $35 additional fee for all inclusive drinks , snacks and a lunch was well worth it .
