Always enjoy playing at grand lake. Challenging course / greens. Well kept. Friendly staff.
Grand Lake was Grand!
It off the beaten path at the end of a gated community. There is no clubhouse per se, just a place to pay and get your cart. No snack bar, no drinks to purchase. Take food and drinks when you play this course. Also no practice area …..
But once you reach the first tee box you feel like you’re in the middle of the Hill Country. These 18 holes will test every shot that you have in your bag. Hills and valleys, woods on each side of the fairways, never a level stance except on the tee boxes and many of the greens. Enjoyable for all handicap players. One of the nicer courses I’ve played around Houston.
If they only had cart girls ….
Amazing Day
As I've stated many times, this course is kept in pristine condition. Great drainage after the rains. Another group of golfers I met.
Great time of year to enjoy.
Best value
When booking a tee time I judge off of tee times, money, and course photos. I was not disappointed. Course had some challenges and I feel as thing grow out that area this could be a top 25 for greater Houston.
Always A Pleasure
All the new upgrades are looking so good on the Fairways. My confidence is growing with the style of the course.
So nice... I always miss the water jug at the white Tee on 10...🫠

Always Welcomed
You read reviews that mention sliw players, well today was one of those days and it gave me time to approach my next shot without being pressed. I think that the speed of play was fine today and for those who complain need to slow down... it really isn't a bad place to be!!

Hot Days require water...
Overall experience was great except by 8am the water coolers were absent for the second time in a row at #6 Tee... the other water station #13 was good, plenty of cold water.
Again, I like the Fairways and light breeze off the lake.
Grand Lake Estates Golf Course
Beautiful course and fun to play! It’s a hidden gym and BYOB. Don’t ever use GolfNow, horrible company that doesn’t let you use your “gift cards” which is YOUR money! We love playing Grand Lake Estates golf course though.
Not worth the time
Decent layout but no amenities including basic offerings like water on the course. 1 spot. No range, no cart person. Many tee boxes were unmarked and used cheap logs to mark. Several areas marked off not to drive on or walk. Disappointed in the offerings for the price

Like all mechanical things, they stop working!! My Cart broke down and quickly i was delivered another one. Debbie to the Rescue. Great day with pleasant smiles...
