Grand Ol’ Time
This course has very decent elevations. Tons of moguls and nice bunkers. Greens were fast and this course has an awesome design.
My favorite course so far. Can’t wait to play when it’s 65’ and a cool breeze
Would definitely recommend this course.
First timer!
Great coarse and incredible staff!! I will be back.
Gradually Improving
The overall layout of this couse allows you to use more of your club selection. I've stated that this is my favorite course.
Greens are perfect speed and liking my improvement.
Relief at Tee 10
Happy to Report that the only water jug on the course had water 💧 in it by the time I reached it at 2pm. It was very low for the later players. Course overall is amazing. Definitely my favorite spot to golf!
THIRSTY
Everything was perfect except the Temperature and the water Jug at hole 10 was empty. I was surprised but could have been an overlook.
I'm very happy overall. Let's keep that cooler full since I cannot drive back to club house.
Grand Lakes Weekend Golf
Grand Lakes is always busy but really like it for the challenge and the condition. We moved at a good pace and enjoyed the course layout. Staff are always super friendly and helpful.
Another great Day
First hole was open again. Really like this approach. Definitely getting better with this type of course. I use more clubs than usual. Thanks....
Beautiful course in great condition.
Gorgeous course, with photographic vistas. It is apparent that the owners and managers care about it, with ongoing improvements. A little rain will help to fill in some of the bare sports on the fringes of the fairways.
The greens were firm, moderately fast and very true-- no hopping or swerving.
The course has elevation changes, varying distances and a variety of challenging holes.
Eventually, a real pro shop will be a plus. New golfers should know that there is no range for warmup and no practice green.
My one critique is that there should be more drinking water jugs along the course. ONE jug on the #10 hole is not enough, especially during summer months.
We're making plans to return very soon.
Fantastic
Course is beautiful and very happy with today's play
Overrated Course
If you want to play on the most rock-solid greens and fairways, play here. I can appreciate informal golf courses but this place takes it a little too far. The proshop is a tiny room in a sheet metal shop building, there is no parking lot only a gravel area, they also do not manage tee times well. 52 dollars with no twilight is too high for a weekday. Bunkers have been unplayable for well over a year at this point and they've resided to marking them all as GUR instead of just making them better. Not to mention the drive to the course is annoying with speed bumps windy roads and there is a locked gate that you have to call the shop to get the code for.
Was a great round of golf
Booked a round as a single and got to play as a single which was nice. Pace of play was great as well. Greens were really sandy, but still rolled very nicely!
