About
The Els Club at Dubai Sports City features an 18-hole golf course with an interesting links-style layout that incorporates traditions of classic design. The golf course is the first designed by Ernie Els in the Middle East. It is situated on softly undulating terrain, providing rolling fairways and sloped greens. Sand dunes and native desert vegetation sprinkled throughout offer a genuine feeling of playing golf in the desert. The Els Club at Dubai Sports City also provides plenty of challenges with steep greenside bunkers and grass swales. Four sets of tees accommodate golfers of all skill levels and abilities, making the course a popular destination for advanced golfers as well as beginners.

Super fast greens
Course is always in excellent condition.
Would prefer not to hit from mats at practice range.
Greens are very fast, however fairways were not cut as tight as they usually are which made the course a little easier.

There are a lot of bunkers lined up.
You can improve your skills to escape bunkers.

I feel it every time I go there, but it's a really beautiful golf course. The staff are friendly and the play is interesting in every hole.

Very well maintained. Very pleasant, courteous and professional staff. The club house, locker room and other off course facilities were all clean were also very enjoyable.
Fabulous Experience
I played this course as a single and got a screaming deal on GolfNow. The course is challenging, well maintained, and the staff are great. My rental clubs were nearly new Callaway Rogues. Overall, a fabulous experience.
Lots of sand. A tough track. I had the highest score I’ve mad in five years. But it was a great day.
A Pleasure To Play
This is a well kept course which was in great condition. I played off the blue tees though had previously played the forward silver tees. Both enjoyable options .
The whole experience from bag drop to range and then the course was a pleasure. Tricky greens and some rather wicked pin positions! As my playing partner commented- “how come all the putts at Els are downhill?!”
Footnote: Els Club need to speak to RTA, as getting taxis out to the club is ( I believe) notoriously difficult using the club’s automated system. I have experienced this on two separate visits. Not really the fault of the club but …..
Twisted ankle so couldn’t play and neither GolfNow nor the Rls Club would allow a different time
