Second hole, par-3, 182 (blues). A challenging tee shot, yet the hole becomes tougher when you land a good distance from the pin. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 07/21/2023

Fourth: The number 3 index, this par-4 or 424 will test your skills from tee to cup. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 07/21/2023

The par-3 ninth plays 197 yards from the blues. Its green is positioned and shaped like a Redan hole, but without the right-to-left cant. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 07/21/2023

The twelfth is named “Double Plateau” for its green, which means that the putting surface actually has three elevations. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 07/21/2023

The fourteenth, a par-4 of 418 with water on the left, is named “Plead,” and you may well find yourself begging it for mercy before putting out. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 07/21/2023

18th, par-4, 458: You’ll need to commit to your full swing (twice) to play a hole tagged with the name “Trust In.” Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 12/13/2021

16th: The short par-3 of 170 lives up to its moniker: “Fortress.” It’s green complex is built like one. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 12/13/2021

An earlier, summertime picture taken of the first hole, called “Road Out,” gives a glimpse of a green sided by a road (behind) and a pesky pot bunker. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 12/13/2021

The sixth–a.k.a. the “Red Oaks”--is index 13, but will still present a few problems enroute to a drive-and-pitch par. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 12/13/2021

“Timberlake” is hole seven, and the hole is all about avoiding the trees and playing some tricky angles from tee to green. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 12/13/2021

Course should have been at least blown off from the big storm so lots of little debris. Fairways needed cutting. Other than that it’s a tough course but a good challenge. Tough greens
Nice layout
Course was very good condition
The greens are large but very tricky due to undulations and contours. Need to place drives into fairway locations to set up iron shots into the green
Fun and enjoyable to play
One of the best
I would rate this course one of the top five I’ve ever played. The greens were difficult with all the undulations but were in great shape. Can’t wait to play it again.
Second favorite course in CT
Oxford greens is excellent. Always clean, well kept and the holes are challenging. No disappointments here.
Opening Day At Oxford Greens Golf Club!
Played with my brother as a 2 some. The course is still very wet. The greens were slow and bumpy. You have to except that for early in the season. It was cart paths only as well. The driving range is closed still. The resteraunt isn't open until Wednesday. Over all the course is only going to get better over time. By May it should be good. Staff is great and course is fun too play. Greens are tricky and the course is long for some people. This track favors big hitters with a draw. Definely going to be back soon.
Best bang for your buck in CT
You get your moneys worth in terms of difficulty and unforgettable shots with this great track. Its always a treat to bring my friends out to play this facility. I live about thirty minutes away from the facility so its more of a day trip for me and my friends, some coming from outside an hour away. Our typical day here is getting a round of bacon egg and cheeses and warming up. Then hitting the range and playing one awesome round. Between the sloped fairways and ungulated greens you get your fair share of "pro like" challenges. We then mill around the bar (we love Joy the F&B manager) and settle up our bets for the round. Usually end the night with a couple burgers or wings and more beer. Great memories here and i will be a continued guest.
Oxford Greens Golf Club nice 50 degrees
Great track and greens in good shape. The fairways in great shape. Definely my go too course in the area. Course plays with a player of a draw. It's a long track with it of blind shots. A must play if your in the area. Tuff track for beginners and a challenge for the advanced or intermediate golfers.
Bunkers in terrible condition
Had a good round. Tees, fairways and greens were in good condition. Sand bunkers we're in terrible condition due to torrential rain day before. They really needed attention. Hope their fixed by the next time we play. I really like the course.
Great track, pace was atrocious, staff needs to address
Love this course, always in good condition and a very challenging test from the tips.
We tee’d off at 930am on a Saturday and starting on the second hole the wait began. We waited every single hole painfully for a 5.5+hr round, which is miserable and unacceptable. Really disappointing to spend $80 and have that experience.
Long but fun
All holes stand alone. The only holes you see are the ones you're playing. Course is in good shape. Pin placement was tough with the 3rd a little unfair being placed on a hill in lower left corner. No way keeping the ball on the green..
This course has a great layout.
Great condition. The greens are a bit fast but that only makes it more challenging.

The fairways were impeccable and the greens were manicured.
Play this course at least six times a year and enjoy every round
perfect round
Course was in great shape even though it appeared greens had been aerated recently (filled in with sand). Staff was accommodating, got us out in open slot between ongoing Golf tournament. No one for 2 holes in front of us and no one playing up quickly behind, it was perfect weather and perfect pace. Felt like private course. The slope of some of the holes especially the Scoundrel always make the course a unique challenge!
Golf Club At Oxford Greens
I played the Oxford Greens with my brother. The course conditions were good. The greens weren't very fast. They were medium speed. Very challenging pin placement. Lot of blind spots. Playing from the blacks is very long! I suggest playing from the whites and blues. Staff and cart girl you know who you are you were great. The cart guy was great as well. Tee boxes were seeded great and same with the fairways. The course plays and favors for players with a draw on there drives. If your a fade player it can be challenging with the lies. Definitely suggest playing here if your a local or in the area traveling.
nice couse, nicer staff
I am copying the review from someone else as my experience was the same. Some fairways were torn up, with divots littering the terrain like I dont know what. (Replace the things folks!) par three greens full of plugs marks left as is(Makes for some interestig putts). Worst were the traps - They either had standing water, or they were packed down like concrete.
Fairways were narrow on many holes so rough always comes into play. Staff seemed to make extra effort to ensure rounds was fun, from 'cookout girl' on 9th hole to pro shop staff. I would play here again just based upon staff.
Pace of play
Started the round 20 minutes after scheduled tee time and the pace was extremely slow had to leave the course before round was complete to make my appointment on time
Rain took a toll
To be fair, we played OG the day after a significant rain. I've played this course in near perfect conditions and its not that now. Some fairways were torn up, with divots littering the terrain like I dont know what. (Replace the things folks!) par three greens full of plugs marks left as is(Makes for some interestig putts). Worst were the traps, and thankfully I only found myself in one. They either had standing water, or they were packed down like concrete. I enjoy this course, but I hope they attend to some of these issues soon.
