Great course
Greens were in great shape as well as the rest of the course.
Fat greens but not unmanageable. And the golf now rate made it even better
Best Muni in the area for sure!
I try to make the drive to Timbergate at least 1-2 times a year. Always pristine conditions from tee to green. As far as Municipal courses go in Indiana this one is as good as it gets.
A "Must Play" Course
Course was in excellent condition. My only complaint when I have played Timbergate in the past was that the rough was too high. Thankfully that issue has been corrected. Timbergate is an excellent layout with a variety of holes.
Pushed
Felt pushed the whole round. One of the workers suddenly appeared behind me pushing me the whole way. Keep in mind that I was the only one there with a tee time of 8am. I guess they were worried I was not going to get done prior to what seemed like an outing /tournament. Not cool at all!
Great course
I have played here a few times and have enjoyed it every time.
Excellent Course
This is an excellent course. Fairways and greens were in great condition. My only suggestion is to cut the rough shorter. It is discouraging to hit your ball 2-3 yards off the fairway and not be able to find your ball.
Will definitely return
We were a little concerned upon arrival on a mid Saturday afternoon. There didn’t seem to be too many people there.
Pro shop was ok, not friendly, but that’s fine.
Practice area was terrible.
Once we got on to the course we were really impressed. Tight fairways, but fair. The course definitely requires hitting it straight. We waited on nearly every shot as the group in front of us were some beginners.
There had been a lot of play and some wet conditions so the greens were beat up a bit, but not too bad. We loved the bent grass.
It is a fun course and we’ll definitely come back.
Great course
This course is always in good condition, greens are very nice, a little beat up but that is due to people not wanting or knowing how to repair divots, which I will never understand!
Must play
Excellent course and always in great condition.
Great staff and not hateful when using golf now tee times like some courses are.
A must play course and highly recommended
