Chehalem Glenn Golf Club sprawls across beautifully hilly terrain, providing a course that is not for the faint of heart. The course is defined by the dramatic changes in elevation, which can make it tough to walk. The steep hills make this a tough golf course even for high handicappers. Uphill, downhill, and sidehill lies abound and you'll also face forced carries to narrow landing areas as well as blind layup shots. The more open front nine is player friendly and the back nine is where it gets tougher with mostly tree-lined holes and more strategically placed bunkers. The golf course is as scenic as it is challenging with elevated tees and greens that overlooks the surrounding hills and valleys. The beauty and difficulty of the course has built Chehalem Glenn Golf Club a reputation as one of the greater Portland area's must-play courses.

Fun time playing this course
This is the second time I’ve played this course.This course has many challenging holes 10 through 13 are all hitting across small canyons. There is a lot of up and down on those holes. Holes 1, and 9 also hitting across small canyon. Greens are in very good condition. Staff is friendly easy to get a tee time in the week just reserve a day a so ahead of time. Pace of play was excellent played in a threesome finished in 3:45 walking. I shoot in the 90s.
Great golf track in a unique town
Course played well but was very wet Cart path only; makes for a lot of unnecessary walking . The town of Newberg is kind of hidden away from the huddle and bustle of PDX. We will definitely be back soon
What a day!
Coursse was in pretty good condition. Tee boxes a little rough though. Played in 3 1/2 hours!, perfect weather!
Nice layout
Great layout for the price. Greens still a little shy of recovering from spring aireation and top dressing. I enjoy the course.
Course was very wet, but the greens were in great shape, so had a good time.
Good location
The course is muddy during the winter but location is very good.
