Disappointing Day!!
I was scheduled to play the Gold course at Emerald Green on Sunday August 28. I made the reservation about a week before. On Saturday 27 we had a fair amount of rain that night leaving the course very wet. It was open, but with cart path only restrictions. Our tee time was for 10:56 am . I called the course about an hour before to say that as a senior golfer I needed to ride a cart more than just on the path. I left my name and phone number as instructed by their message, but unfortunately I never got a call back even though the message said I would. I did get a text that said my new tee time would be around 3:45 pm that day. My playing partner, my son, was unable to make that time due to a previous planned event and we never requested an afternoon tee time. I did play the Silver course a month or so earlier and would schedule a time for the Gold course again if I could use the fee I paid for the 28th round that I’ve not been refunded. My first experience with this course was fine, but this was terrible as they didn’t follow their own way of handling calls. Please let me know if I can get a refund from the 28th to use in the future at the Emerald Green course. Thank you.

Ok
We had to have the beer cart gal get a ranger out to get the 4 some in front of us out of the way because there was literally 8 groups backed up because they were so slow. After they were out of the way we played the back nine in an hour a a half. Course needs some water because the rough was hard as a rock. Greens and fairways were in decent shape.
Good day
I don’t hit it long so this course right up my alley. Slopey greens add defense making it a great day. I would hate to see it when wind is up
The gold course is a fun track...
The gold course is a shorter, more relaxing round of golf than the silver course.
The greens are typical "emerald greens" fast, so mind your touch with the putter.
There are birdies to be had if you're on your game.
I do however prefer the days of the par 5 10th being the first hole. That sharp dogleg makes for a slow 1st hole for many golfers, imo.
Give the gold course a try, I think you'll like it.
Meh
The course was not in great condition at all. Had to wait to get a cart as all of them were in use and missed our tee time. Seems like they overbooked as well as pace of play was slow.
Great course with plenty of challenges
We played this and was very impressed with the layout and overall experience. Pace of play was alright, busier days you should make sure you’re not rushed; but overall a good experience. Driving range was good as well, pretty good value for a bucket. Will more than likely play this again with how some of the holes have the challenge of where to put the ball.
Fair test
Good greens, decent layout. Not too demanding but you have to hit good shots to score. Helps to play more than once as there are some odd angles and some sloped greens.
Emerald greens
Perfect day. Very few on course on Friday afternoon. Very friendly front desk person and starter. Thanks
Basic municipal feel of a course
My first round of the season! Emerald is a very plain Jane kind of a course. Course conditions were average for the time of year. Greens were a little slow but very consistent. Par 3 tee boxes are under construction currently.
Not a bad little track! I paid 24 with one of my $10 off codes so 24 for walking didn’t seem bad. I wouldn’t pay more than $30.
