Blue Fox Run Golf Club - Blue Nine

Fairways were horendous, you couldn't tell where green and fringe meet. No consistency from green to green

The greens were in poor condition (dead grass, worms, dirt, rocks). The fairways were non-existent ( multiple fairway shots were being taken off of dirt or other divots, some fairways had grass that was a few inches tall). The pooling of water due to poor grading was a consistent problem (swamp like conditions on multiple holes) The golf cart seats were cover in leaves and water.

When I pay $60 for a round of golf I expect it to be flawless. This course should not be charging more than $40 per round. Please look at various other courses within a 10 mile radius of your course and you will see their price point in comparison to the course conditions.

Not the best condition, it likes like they might be working on the course a little. It has been in rough shape for years and years now. No water durning the summer, kills all the grass. Today was aero rated greens. Also always seem to have you play the red and the white course, never the blue. The blue is the best 9 holes at the facility. It is early in the year and course conditions reflect that fact.

Greens were in good shape, the rest of the course needs to catch up. Enjoyed our round.

I showed up 15 mins before my tee time expecting a frost delay. I wasn't even sure if course was open. The guy pulled in and said there was definitely a frost delay, gave me directions to breakfast pace.

When I came back he let me hang out in the grill room and watch tv to kill time before the delay was over.

I told him I wasn't going to be able to play 18 because of a Easter reservation, and he presented me a rain check for 9 holes and said play until I had to leave.

The course was in great winter shape. The greens were what you would expect after a long winters nap. My only issues were self inflicted. I will definitely play again.

Just enjoying this beautiful Easter weather in New England with my friends. The fairways,tee box and the greens are in good condition for this time of the year. I would recommend this course to all type of golfers to come out and play at Blue Fox Run in Simsbury ,CT. The Staff are really friendly.i don't mind playing here every weekend if I could, just to get my iron going for the summer.

Course is not maintained at all. Aeration holes fill the bunkers mixing with goose poop, greens full of sand. Fairways poorly maintained. Tee boxes are dirt. Staff was extremely friendly, would not be surprised to see this course go out of business soon.

First off, Jay & Dave are simply THEE BEST staffers i have ever met at a golf course! Very friendly and helpful and accommodating.

Considering it's the end of the year, the course was in decent shape. Greens could have been better but again it's November. I always enjoy playing here.

Had a big storm go through last night, but the course played well. Blue course was closed. Can't complain about mid November golf in Ct. We'll be back for sure.

The pace of play was ok! The weather was a little chilly, other than that we had a great time at the course. I can't complain or should I say we couldn't complain about the leaf on the golf course, cause uti that time of the year! The staff was really friendly, and everyone was in good spirit when we finally finished. Our score was a little high. But we had a great time!

Today was a beautiful day to play a round of golf with our friends. We all had a great time. The weather was in the mid 60's. The tee box, fairways and all the greens we're in great condition. The pace was a little slow but we had a great time. I would recommend this course to all level of golfers.. the price for 18 holes/with cart is great for this time of the year. Thanks for the "Hot Deals" we had a great time!
