Blue Fox Run Golf Club - White Nine

These were the worst conditions of a course I had ever played.

It literally blows my mind that they are still charging what they do at this course. This place was once one of my favorite layouts and usually in pretty good condition but my oh my what the past few years have done to this place. There’s no way to sugarcoat it. Tee boxes are terrible fairways are terrible, bunkers are terrible and the greens are terrible. That pretty much sums it up. Hopefully this place gets bought and they do a full renovation because that’s what it needed. And just a thought, maybe you should lower the prices until that happens.

This course has gone to seed. No upkeep visible whatsoever. Crabgrass is EVERYWHERE - tee boxes, fairways, rough. The greens were in poor condition, bare spots the size of a large pizza on almost every one, unrepaired ballmarks. Def not worth the $64 I paid.

My first inkling that this round was going to be a poor experience was the sign at the driveway: “Real Estate Auction”. I’d heard about this course in years past but never played it. I checked after and it appears this place is being sold, I just hope the new owners care more than the current owners. I’ve played in some real “cow pastures” before, but this place is worse… The conditions are simply awful - a disgrace, really. Crabgrass is the predominant vegetation on this course, and it is everywhere: on the tee boxes, in the rough, and on the fairways. The greens are pockmarked with dozens of unrepaired ball marks and large swatches of dead areas. The sand traps are mostly overgrown with vegetation. Cart paths are filled with potholes, small trees downed across the paths, and in overall terrible shape. The shame of it is that the layout is actually kind of interesting, and I can see why people back in the day enjoyed playing here, but until new ownership comes in and rights the ship, this is a course to avoid. I would expect whoever does buy it is going to need to shut it down for a season in order to fix the crabgrass issue because, believe me, it is EVERYWHERE. If I had paid $35 for the round, I couldn’t really complain, but $64 for 18 & cart is outright robbery. The only positive thing I can say is we played on a Saturday morning of a beautiful day and we finished in 4 hours. Aside from that, I’ll never set foot on this course again until new ownership fixes what’s broken.

This used to be a pretty nice course but now I dont know what happened. I get with all the rain it has to be tough to mow but there were a few holes where it was hard to tell the difference between fairway and rough. Greens were slow and needed to be mowed and there were a few that were in rough shape. Lack of any ranger / starter made pace of play a mess. Guys in front of us had a hole open in front of them the whole back nine.

This course needs a little TLC. Sand traps are a disaster, quite a few deep ruts in cart paths, starting to burn out, extremely hard to even get a tee in the ground. Didn’t see one maintenance worker the entire time. A few water jugs would have been nice on a 90+day.

Course was filled with weeds and bare patches. Terrible conditions, barely even worth the $15 hot deal.

We have been to this course a few times over the last few years. This was the best shape it’s been in quite a while. Still a bit rough in spots but overall quite good. Couple of greens could use a bit of work and bunkers not great. Happy overall

With a wet spring we thought there would be grass. And fot the most part there was. The greens were so slow you had to hammer the ball. Bunkers haven't been worked on yet this year. We did see a couple grounds people out and about. The restaurant wasn't open.Save your money.

Fairways and tee box are terrible, sandtraps don't even bother..take your ball out. Greens better than last time but very furry.

An unfortunate experience. Used to play here consistently, always was great value for money. Course conditions were terrible , driving range was horrible , only two courses open, went to get food at the turn and the restaurant closed at four o clock. I’m sad to see how poorly managed and run this course is given its history. Will not return, they are clearly running the course into the ground intentionally.
