I've played this course many times. It's always in great shape. Got a great Senior rate thru Golf Now.
Nice Track!
I like the layout, also the different elevations
Pace of play was steady, nice to see on course ranger. Some greens need to be cut and rolled. Overall course conditions were very good given the lack of rain. I look forward to playing the course a few more times this season
Nice layout
Unique layout. Not your back and fourth kind of course. Fairways were open with lots of traps. Not sure if it's semi-private, but golfers didn't pay too much attention to fixing divots or raking traps. Lots of wooden tees left in every tee box. Greens rolled nice. A little pricey but it's in a good location. Would definitely play again.
Unbelievable course
I shot a 79 that day and that includes missing two eagle putts and 3 putting three times. I landed near/on 2 greens with my drives. I will be playing this course monthly going forward. Greens rolled quick, fairways are mint and tight. Tee boxes are in great shape. Starter was very friendly. Workers were wicked busy and nice.
A gem in Central Mass
Great course and layout. Friendly staff and some challenging holes great value. Highly recommend
Nice Golf Course
I have played here a few times as of this year. This time we got told numerous times that we needed to be on the back 9 by a certain time. These warnings came when we were on the 9th hole. This was the first time it was mentioned to us and we felt rushed to get done with front 9 in time. My only complaint was that we were not warned sooner. Never mentioned this when we went off @ 10:50 am.
Also, we tried to purchase some drinks on the course and only had credit card for payment. They don't take credit cards on the course so it was a pain to order. We did end up paying by credit card at the end in the restaurant. This should be changed to allow for credit card while on the course by the card folks. Just a suggestion.
GPS warning
We had trouble finding the course, as the GPS was not locking in on the address. We ended up on a dead end rd. Good thing we left early enough to get there with 20 mins to Tee Off!
The first impression pulling up...Wow! this place is gorgeous. You can tell by the properties surrounding the club, that the course will be fantastic! And it was!!
The pro shop experience was great, the staff was very friendly and the starter and ranger were awesome.
The first hole is a par 5 out of the gate, wide open and a good representation of other holes to come.
Greens were fast and true. Fairway wre in great shape and cart paths were paved.
We will def come back to play Highfields again!!!
Nice course
First time playing this course and it was very nice. It’s a layout that you need to play with someone who knows it as some holes have interesting layouts.
One of the public courses around
Conditions are great for mid-July. Too bad the range doesn’t allow woods but my favorite public course around.
Best in Worcester County
Great layout, condition of the course is the best in Worcester County so far this year. Staff needs to lighten up... we had a ranger follow us for 4 or 5 holes....seemed to be hunting us. Despite the staff, this place is a premium value in Worcester County.
Worth the ride
Grafton, MA is a little off the beaten path, but Highfields is worth the trip. The course is immaculate, interesting and requires almost every club in the bag. A really nice place to spend a day.
I really like this course
Highfields is really alot of fun to play. the course is challenging, allowing you to use all the clubs in your bag, The course iss always in great shape and the staff is very professional and friendly.
I look forward to going back....
