Rain day
Course was in great shape for all the rain we received. Definitely coming back to this this hidden gem
Great Pace
I've played the course many times and enjoy the layout. For some reason, the back nine always plays slow, but overall pace was very good. We played the front in under 2 hours, and the back had the usual bottleneck at holes 11-15. I don't know if it was because of the hot weather, but the greens were very slow. They rolled true, but I had trouble getting myself to hit the putts hard enough.
First time at Highfields in a few years
The course was in great shape. Love the way the fairway and rough are cut to be distinct from each other. You don’t always see that in local public courses. Enjoyed the round, will be back soon.
No complaints
Great course to play, challenging, very beautiful. Fairly wide open par 4/5s. Would recommend.
Rainy day of golf
My friend and I played during light rain. Course looked and played great regardless. Got a good deal because of the weather. Will return, one of the best courses in central mass.
Tough
I am about a 20 handicap but can hit it far so I played from the tips. It was kinda cold , windy and wet so the course played even tougher. Overall had a great time, will be back, staff was friendly and restaurant looked nice but I didn’t get any food. Only gave it a 4 to leave room for improvement and ultimately the weather conditions probably impacted my experience.
