About
The National Golf Club of Louisiana is the cornerstone of the Westlake community. The course wanders through towering stands of beautiful Louisiana soft pines that provide an idyllic setting. The layout measures more than 7,000 yards from the back tees, offering plenty of holes that will please long hitters. The challenging greens are known to be some of the largest of any golf course in the area. The size of the greens can accommodate a variety of hole locations, allowing the course to play differently each time. You'll be tested with 80 strategically placed bunkers and 14 different lakes that come into play throughout. The generously wide fairways are seemingly docile but the subtle slopes and rolling terrain can be unforgiving. Accuracy and proper club selection are the keys to scoring well at The National Golf Club of Louisiana.

Played in 3 1/2 hours and had a good time.Course was in very good shape, greens were a little fast but very nice.Great Day!

National conditions
Shocked to see the course In the condition that it is in. Tee boxes not cut, greens not good , cups look as if have not been changed in months some were actually collapsing down into the hole
Bunkers are not maintained

Course was in great shape for the weather we have been having the past few weeks. Greens were nice rolled true. Will be back.
I am a beginner at golf and saw this course while working in West Lake. It was so fun to play the course. It’s beautiful and challenging for a beginner which I found amazing. I will make it a point to bring my clubs whenever I come to West Lake just so I can play here again. Staff was amazing food in the restaurant was amazing.
Nice but slow.
Course and facilities are very nice, price is outstanding, but the pace is very slow. I’d suggest playing in off times if you don’t want a 5 hour round.
Has potential!
They need to put some money into course but great layout and facilities. Greens were recently punched but rough outside of punches, flags were ripped/torn, holes hadn’t been moved for days & pins didn’t stay in the hole!
16 out of 18 greens to be covered in weeds that disrupt your putting. Ants on the T boxes that bite you when trying to drive. Just over all the last 4 times I’ve been I was not impressed.
