About
Situated less than a half hour from Lethbridge, Magrath Golf Club is known among locals as the South's hidden gem. The course sprawls across gently rolling hills dotted with mature trees. The greens are quick and the fairways are generous on this player-friendly layout. There is a stream that snakes through the golf course in addition to a number of lakes. You'll encounter water on nearly every hole and you'll also have to contend with a few strategically placed bunkers. The golf course begins with a par-4 dogleg right with a fairway bunker on the left and trees all along the right side. Magrath Golf Club's final hole is another par 4, though this one is a bit tougher. There is trouble from tee to green, starting with a tee shot over water to a sloped fairway. Two bunkers guard the front of the green, making approaches extremely difficult.

Been a member for on and off for close to 13 years
Really like Magrath golf course.
Wish there was a course marshal or better management because we do seem to get bullied from time to time buy staff and some members.
We really DO recommend golfing here though because there are some great people here and it’s a great golf course but please stop the bullying, we’re actually nice couple !!!
Magrath 2018
The golf course is in great shape.
The golf carts not so much. They were dirty, old, noisy, and ion very poor condition.
The faculties at the clubhouse are also old and limited.
Great Staff
Course Marshall needed! The pro shop staff were good enough to tell me about a tourney going on, so I knew it was not gong to be a quick round, but their were two groups that were holding back the entire course. I managed to play through one, but the other not so lucky. Paired up with another group that played thru and up to me... They eventually had to go, leaving the course after 16 holes. I hope a Marshall would have at least required 'ready play'. Thought I was behind Q - school the way pace was going. Also, if there was a drink cart, on hot days, that would be good. Thought I saw one two holes back, but never actually came across a drink cart. Real grass range and a small bucket to warm up. Good test of golf and course in nice shape. Give me a Marshall, and a cold drink on the course and I easily give another overall star.

The weather was awesome, the course was in great condition and we had an amazing day. Started off birdie, birdie, how much better can it get.

Other then golfing horribly. It was great!!!! Even a horrible golf day is better than working. Each hole has a different look and course is in great shape
Great course
We thought we would get out one last time before the snow flies. As we drove up we were so surprised at the shape of the course. The fairways were so green and lush with only a few leaves here and there. We had a great time. No one in front of us and no one behind us!!

fine course and worth every cent via golf now. however, as per most courses today, the usual 60 to 75 dollars with cart is too much for a round. conditions and layout are in the upper end of the public course spectrum. greens very good, sand is often packed and can be rocky, which is too often the need in southern alberta,

Great course in excellent condition. Very fun to play. Green were fast, but received the ball well.
