Magrath Golf Club
About
Situated less than a half hour from Lethbridge, Magrath Golf Club is known among locals as the South's hidden gem. The course sprawls across gently rolling hills dotted with mature trees. The greens are quick and the fairways are generous on this player-friendly layout. There is a stream that snakes through the golf course in addition to a number of lakes. You'll encounter water on nearly every hole and you'll also have to contend with a few strategically placed bunkers. The golf course begins with a par-4 dogleg right with a fairway bunker on the left and trees all along the right side. Magrath Golf Club's final hole is another par 4, though this one is a bit tougher. There is trouble from tee to green, starting with a tee shot over water to a sloped fairway. Two bunkers guard the front of the green, making approaches extremely difficult.

Little bit dry in some areas but over all shape was excellent
pristine fun challanging
lots of fun. plenty of wildlife. plenty of places to lose your golf ball
too cheap via golf now
fine course and worth every cent via golf now. however, as per most courses today, the usual 60 to 75 dollars with cart is too much for a round. conditions and layout are in the upper end of the public course spectrum. greens very good, sand is often packed and can be rocky, which is too often the need in southern alberta,
Great course.
100% worth the 30 minute drive from Lethbridge. Such a great course!
Magrath Golf Course
Excellent course and layout tee times just too close together
Great variety in course layout
We enjoyed the course. Well maintained. Every hole had its own challenge.
Well worth the 15 minute drive!
Great course in excellent condition. Very fun to play. Green were fast, but received the ball well.
Awesome course
Great course nestled away. Some people don't even know about it. You can tell it was built in the 1920's as it's a little shorter of a course and has huge trees all around it. If you aren't very straight off the tee you could have a bad time here. Greens are always awesome. Roll great and good speed. Beverage cart doesn't come around enough tho
Magrath Golf Course
This course is a great gem in Southern alberta. down in th eriver valley offers some protection form the winds. nice layout, alwats in good condition.
open early
although it was early for golfing this course was and was in really good shape.the course has lots of surprises and is well laid out, quite a good challenge, great staff, very accommodating.
Green, green
The course is in fantastic shape & the staff were very friendly. This course has always been a favourite, only setback is the drive time to and from the course on a busy 1lane highway
