About
Situated less than a half hour from Lethbridge, Magrath Golf Club is known among locals as the South's hidden gem. The course sprawls across gently rolling hills dotted with mature trees. The greens are quick and the fairways are generous on this player-friendly layout. There is a stream that snakes through the golf course in addition to a number of lakes. You'll encounter water on nearly every hole and you'll also have to contend with a few strategically placed bunkers. The golf course begins with a par-4 dogleg right with a fairway bunker on the left and trees all along the right side. Magrath Golf Club's final hole is another par 4, though this one is a bit tougher. There is trouble from tee to green, starting with a tee shot over water to a sloped fairway. Two bunkers guard the front of the green, making approaches extremely difficult.

Hidden Gem - I want to go back!
The course labels itself the hidden gem of Southern Alberta and I would definitely have to agree. I knew nothing about this course before someone told me about it and I am glad I was able to make it out there. I would like to return since I now have some course knowledge and would play a couple holes differently, still scored well and loved the greens. A must play in the area
Great Golf
This course has a few challenges and is in great shape and there's always the added bonus of seeing a few deer in the trees. Love it!
Course in excellent condition
The relatively wet summer and the attention of the grounds crew has put the course into excellent condition. It is always a pleasure to play this beautiful and quiet track. It's well worth the short drive from Lethbridge.
Great work! Great course!
Even after two consecutive days of tornado watches and warnings the course was in great shape. Crews were hard at work clearing woody debris and leaves, repairing washed out gravel pathways and maintaining bunkers. The fairways and greens were freshly cut and in great shape! I can't say enough about the effort put in to return this course to its usual fantastic condition. You have to play this course!

FUN COURSE
A fun layout in a valley with trees. Wind is constant in the Lethbridge area and this course provides some protection from that. Greens and fairways were in good condition. Small town atmosphere with great stsff.
Nice fun course
This is a nice course that while it is open and more forgiving off fairway then some courses it also provides great challenge to shoot low scores.

One of the best in Southern Alberta
Course was in excellent condition. A fantastic course to play. Very fun with some interesting holes. #10 approaches a very elevated green which is a fun challenge. Definitely worth making a drive to play this course!
A true gem sas advertised
staff does an excellent job of maintaining the course. All natural fairways and terrain. Playability for all levels of golfers. Price is extremely acceptable. Food and service is excellent. Lots of practice facilities.

This is the one of the best courses in the Lethbridge area. Meticulously groomed course.

no cart service on course. THe course is in very good condition.
better hit it straight
It was a windy day when playing this course. course is not easy as you need to keep it in play of the tee as the rough is sticky and if u dont reach the doglegs on some of the holes your blocked by trees or no angle to the green. Greens are tough to read and some bowl shaped. Would recommend if its windy play blue tees as when windy most holes are either into or side winds.
One of most challenging country course i've played.
calm in the valley
a great course when the weather is windy. Down in the valley the course plays well and the wind doesn't affect many holes. True greens and lush fairways. Lots of challenges on each hole.
This course is a hidden gem
Played last Saturday and despite the sky's opening up on the 15 hole it was an enjoyable round. Fairways were well kept and mostly green although there has not been much rain in the area. The greens were firm and fast with some tuff pin placements. Was in great shape overall will certainly play Magrath again next time we are in Lethbridge.
Great course.....But
Course is in great shape. Didnt know league was going on (Thursdays). Had to play the back nine twice. First nine was quick( but no cart service). Tried to buy a soda at the vending machine at 15 but it stole my money. Second nine was dead slow 15-20 min wait on every t box. But the beer cart started to come Overall. Great course to play. Would have liked to do the front. Don't book on Wednesdays.

This course is a hidden gem and in great shape. Carts are in need of being replaced but the value more than makes up for it.
Super day!
The staff was super friendly, course was in super condition for the early part of the year. Paired up with a couple ladies, and we had a super round of golf.
Good course, bad timing.
Overall the course was in great shape for the late season. The only negative was they had just airerated the greens so they were not in good shape. Would come back for sure.
