Good conditions
Never disappointed when I get to play Cardiff, second time this year playing it a couple months apart. Great greens, fairways and tee's. Will want to get back before season ends.
Good Condition
Update: 24-May-2020
The course is in good condition for this time of year. The greens are in the best condition i have seen them in years. There was very little winter damage, cut and quick. The fairways have quite a bit of winter damage and a few wet spots. The tee boxes are in good but a little shaggy. The pros-shop staff were friendly and helpful,
fast greens
The pace of play was great 3.5 hours , the greens were fast , only downfall was some winter kill on the fairways other than that wonderful round of play.
Great Chance
Weather was cold and a bit snow flakes flying.
Everything was great except weather and COVID-19
first time in a few years
haven't golfed card if in awhile. This day was not a great indicated of how much we enjoyed golfing, it was very cold, no wait, we were the only people on the course. It was in great shape, very challenging, will definitely make the trip to golf in warmer weather, all staff were awesome, can't say enough nice things about everyone
Great Little Gem of a Course
From the clubhouse staff (Dallas) to fit us in when GolfNow didn't box out available tee times due to a tournament that morning , to the beverage cart operator (sorry didn't get your name young lady) she was very efficient, had friendly conversation, and made it around to see us every 3-4 holes even with a tournament happening, great job. From the friendly staff, to the cleanliness of the facility, to the layout of the course which has fast greens,, and well positioned hazards can present challenges for most levels of players. Suggest that sandbunkers get more sand and other group of players music is not so loud that you hear it across the golf course. Overall playing Cardiff GC&C after a golf tournament was a good experience. I'll play the course again only after confirming there is no tournament booked of my groups tee time. Thank you Cardiff staff.
Stay out of the trees!!
Not a tough course but you want to stay on the fairways. Balls tend to disappear in the trees. The pace was good. We finished in just under four hours. The greens were fast and most of them were in excellent shape. We really enjoyed our round and definitely would go back.
Great little track
You should never judge a course by the first hole, looks fairly easy but once you start playing it you will discover that it has its hidden challenges. Will definitely play it again.
Greens good, alot of standing water on fairways and bunkers.
Always enjoy playing Cardiff at least a couple times a yr. Lots of water laying around on fairways, bunkers but greens good for Poa that hasn't seen much heat this summer. Too bad we had to play Lift ,Clean and Place due too all the rain this course has taken on. Decent play regardless, will go back.
First time
Played this course for the first time and wow is it amazing. Very challenging and very unique. Every hole has something challenging about it and no two holes are the same. Greens super fast and challenging. This course tore my scorecard apart but I will be back just for the beauty and challenge it gave me.
