About
Vulcan Golf & Country Club sits on the outskirts of the town. The layout sprawls across gently rolling terrain accented with stands of mature trees. The course measures to just over 6,300 yards from the back tees. It's gentle enough for beginners but also great for more advanced players who are looking for a casual round that can be played in less than four hours. The golf course starts with a gentle front nine with water only coming into play twice. Don't be lulled into a sense of comfort though, the course becomes progressively more difficult, culminating with the signature 18th hole. Water appears again on six holes on Vulcan's back nine, including on the final par-3 hole. Water borders the entire left side and there are also a slew of bunkers protecting the large green.

Great farmland links course
The wind was blowing making this one of the more fun times I have played the course. Great layout, making it fair with the 90km+ hour wind.
Great course one of my absolute favorite.

Played a round today. Last played here a few years ago. 90 min drive from Calgary, but still great value
Relaxing play
I like this course and play it as often as I can. For my level of golf it is challenging but not too difficult, lifts my spirits and makes me want to come back.
This course is well worth the drive
We had a lot of fun, first timers and intermediate
cold day
not a great day for golf. the weather was very cold and windy, so did not complete the round. the course itself was in good shape.
