About
Vulcan Golf & Country Club sits on the outskirts of the town. The layout sprawls across gently rolling terrain accented with stands of mature trees. The course measures to just over 6,300 yards from the back tees. It's gentle enough for beginners but also great for more advanced players who are looking for a casual round that can be played in less than four hours. The golf course starts with a gentle front nine with water only coming into play twice. Don't be lulled into a sense of comfort though, the course becomes progressively more difficult, culminating with the signature 18th hole. Water appears again on six holes on Vulcan's back nine, including on the final par-3 hole. Water borders the entire left side and there are also a slew of bunkers protecting the large green.

Another great day at Vulcan
The course was in great shape and the weather was very nice. Great day to be on a golf course.
Golf now app
The Vulcan course was fantastic but I booked my tee time using the golfnow app and had to pay a $5.00 fee plus the green fees quoted on the app were misleading as I had to pay $10.00 more the the app said. I will never use this app again
Old established front 9 to newer back nine
Great country golf course with a tight front nine with old established trees to a younger back nine were you can spray the ball on the back nine and still have a shot . Fun course with friendly staff to make your day a lot of fun .
LITTLE GEM IN THE MIDDLE OF A PRAIRIE
VERY PLAYABLE FOR ALL LEVELS, FRIENDLY STAFF, GOOD FOOD, CHEAP RATES.
fun place to play
course is in excellent shape and a real pleasure to play.
Staff are very knowledgeable and helpful. if you want a no pressure round, then this is the place to play.finished in slightly less than 4 hours.
Great challenging variety of holes
Excellent course with long par fives and variety of holes to play. Enjoyed the wide open links style back.9.
This course is fabulous. The very different front and back 9 pose challenges for everyone. Always love playing this course.

It is a hidden gem .. great staff .. food is very reasonable priced ..
Little wet, but prepared
When we checked in they gave us a cart with a windshield and a cover for your clubs. We had 2 holes that were wet, then sun came out. Very thoughtful of staff to look after us. Because of the questionable weather, we had the course to ourselves, took 2 1/2 hours for 18 holes. Very enjoyable.
Started on back 9, was great
Had a junior tournament going on so they had us start on 10. Very thoughtful and extremely helpful. Stayed after the round for a beer and cheeseburger - also very good.
Busy, no marshals
Two foursomes in front of us, very slow. No marshalls and they weren't letting anyone play through. Fortunately, it started raining on hole 8 and that got rid of them! Good after that.
