Sunnydale Golf and Country Club
About
Sunnydale Golf & Country Club can trace its roots back to 1923 but the 18-hole course that exists today did not come to be until 1983 when a second nine was added. During its remodeling as an full-length layout, the greens were seeded, irrigation was improved on each hole, and hundreds of trees were planted. The golf course has matured nicely into a player-friendly layout that appeals to all skill levels. The layout features flat, tree-lined fairways and small greens that are sparsely but strategically bunkered. There are also some greens that are dome-shaped to watch out for. Water hazards come into play on several holes throughout Sunnydale Golf & Country Club. Between the ninth and 18th fairways there is a practice area golfers can use that features two putting greens.

Challenging greens. Well maintained.
Friendly, helpful staff in Pro Shop and Restaurant.
Fairways and greens are always well-maintained
Great Value.
fun course
Sunnydale was in good shape even though we have had a very dry summer. It was a great deal for the price we paid.
For what we paid it was excellent!!!
We got good value on this course. Its not hard but not easy. Was in good shape. Not many even lies.
very well kept fairways
The only issue with the course is that the greens are inconsistent for speeds, I'm thinking due to length and dryness. Other then that its an open course with knee height long grass off the fairway on a lot of the holes which makes it challenging if you don't hit a straight ball, plus you have undulating fairways so even if you hit a perfect drive you could be on a slight down slope which makes it tougher on the approach shots. Greens are small with rounded off edges.
Easy to walk and affordable
I have played this course several times before and I find the course is easy to walk, affordable and with friendly staff. The course has never been pristine and if golfers are looking for a challenging course with beautiful vistas , this is not the course. For seniors and new golfers this is a great place to start or if you are looking for an affordable round during peak season.
Course was in great Shape Great guy in the Pro Shop
Course was in great shape the greens faster than I am use to -loved them.
The Guy in the Pro Shop was great as were the food service crew even though they were no Hot Dogs as it was a slow day-kind of a tradition when we are doing well with our round to have a "power dog" to get that extra boost for the back nine.
Will play Sunnydale again
Nice course
I like Sunnydale but find it a bit wide open for my preference. I prefer more water and trees. Still a great course to play and the staff are extremely pleasant.
