Sunnydale Golf and Country Club
About
Sunnydale Golf & Country Club can trace its roots back to 1923 but the 18-hole course that exists today did not come to be until 1983 when a second nine was added. During its remodeling as an full-length layout, the greens were seeded, irrigation was improved on each hole, and hundreds of trees were planted. The golf course has matured nicely into a player-friendly layout that appeals to all skill levels. The layout features flat, tree-lined fairways and small greens that are sparsely but strategically bunkered. There are also some greens that are dome-shaped to watch out for. Water hazards come into play on several holes throughout Sunnydale Golf & Country Club. Between the ninth and 18th fairways there is a practice area golfers can use that features two putting greens.

Always a good game
Play Sunnydale several times a year and always have a great time there. They keep the course in great shape and the greens were amazing for this time of year. Looked like they even put in some new benches on some of the holes. There was no one in front of us and the two of us played 18 in under three hours. Would recommend this place to everyone.
Nice course
Well maintained staff is friendly and professional also seem happy to accommodate golf. Com customers. Great experience
On a very hot day
Our 4some ranged from an elderly man to a young man with Mom and Dad in between.
We found that several 2somes were playing up on us. We let one set play through but tried to keep up. It wasn't very busy because of the heat so we would have appreciated a bit more time allotted before the young couples hit up on us. Other than that.... I enjoy every day of golf.
Better than Expected
Underrated... Beautiful greens, not easy with so many different slopes, runs, lanes and undulations. Going to become a great track to add to the list of favourites in the Valley. Sand was a challenge to get used to but no real complaints. Hit my first 300+ drive of the year on hole 7. Have to admit I was really shocked, pleasantly.
Cheers!
Good day
A good day on the course, it did rain mid way around, for about 7 holes, but the sun came out and we dried out.
Course is in great shape.
Good Afternoon of golf
The course was in really good condition. it does have some small greens which are somewhat difficult to land and stick. Played 18 Holes in 3 hours and 05 minutes which was very good pace. We did play mid afternoon and other golfers were well dispersed on the course so virtually no waiting at tee boxes. Overall good value.
Very friendly and welcoming staff
The beverage cart didn't happen. A very hot day. The restaurant was closed when we were finished at 5p.m. so we had to go elsewhere
poor design
Odd course.decent in length but significant walking out and then back to and from teeboxes.Flat greens on front nine but all turtlebacks on back nine.Nothing memorable and included in price driving range was closed.disappointing
Good value good course
The course was in good shape. Small greens and hard to land on some in regulation. But overall good value
course good for older ones easy to walk
No steep grades, friendly staff, good turn out of friendly patrons.
Fun to play
The course
is fun to play and it doesn't take all day
easy walk
Can use all clubs in your bag
Fair course, of which you can use all your clubs, open and difficult to lose golf balls.
Great staff
My driver broke just before playing and the staff gave me a rental to us. Very friendly and appreciated.
Good Course for Long Hitters
Course is in good shape considering how dry it is this year. Long ball hitters will like it as you can really stretch out and will be rewarded as long as you are accurate. Putting surfaces are a challenge as several are domed, so it's tough to keep the ball on the green.
Don't have to use a driver much
You have to use most of your clubs in your bag! Few sand traps surprised me, on the right and left side of fairways 6 & 7.
Great value
Great course fro those moving up from par 3 courses.
Sunnydale 13 Jun 2015
Bump and run may be best to approach to the small greens, Good Value for the dollar
Friendly Staff

Sunnydale Golf Coarse
Enjoyed the coarse and the association of players I was with.
heat little course
Fairways good shape as well as greens . Not many players ahead so we're able to play with no delay. Would suggest that after your game you visit the clubhouse patio as this seemed under used as we stopped after game and we're alone
Servuce good and had a cool breeze on warm day. A good golf day
