Unexpected find
I finally had time to book a round at the Sunshine Coast GC on a recent visit t0 Gibsons. You can’t see much of the course from the highway but what a nice surprise! Great variety of holes winding through quiet coastal forest and in very good condition. White tees played long enough for us but the blues could add another 400 yards. They have a huge patio so no problem with taking all necessary Covid precautions. As Arnold says “I’ll be back!”
Great course great value for money amazing winter golf
Driven by in many times but first time playing it!
The price was right at $37. for 18. We walked in 4 hours.
There is so much walking distance between holes so would recommend a motor cart if not fit or elderly. Love it if the cart paths were paved and not gravel. The tees, fairways and greens were in great shape. Very natural setting.

The best greens!
Vacationing at Sechelt and decid d to play the Sunshine Coast Golf Course. Was a beautiful day and the course looked in great shape. Each hole was challenging but the best part of the course was the greens. They were in fantastic shape. So tight and lush. Like a firm green carpet. The roll was true on every green. I totally recommend this course.
Great Coastal Golf
This is a highly enjoyable golf experience for golfers of all abilities. The tee boxes are well staggered to provide a fair challenge for all handicaps. The condition of the fairways rivals and exceeds many private clubs in North America and is certainly better than most public-access courses. Part of the reason is the Pacific Northwest weather, which provides year-round moisture, and part is the very conscientious course maintenance. As you play, you are surrounded by beautiful views of ocean and forest. Highly recommended!
