Lots of drainage issues. Much better in late summer.
This course is always intriguing
I have played this course several times over the past year and always enjoy the variety from hole to hole. The spring weather is bringing a welcome firming up of the fairways.
Great Day of Golf
My nine year old son and I golfed together this afternoon. Course is challenging for the both of us. Tight shot options is several locations. Course was wet but this was right after 12 hours of hard rain. Course was quiet, since the weather was still questionable. Fairways were in great shape after the storm. Was wet in the rough. Staff is fantastic, make my son feel like a champion. Definitely will go back!
The course is in the best shape I've ever seen it!
I've always liked Glacier Greens but it was always a little "scruffy" looking. They must have either decided to invest more money into landscaping or/and hired new grounds maintenance because it is looking great. They also must have good drainage because the fairways were in really good shape for early March, not too muddy and the greens were fast. It can be a windy course but today it was perfect:)
Don't Play This Course in the Winter
How disappointing! Such a beautiful course, but an awful experience. This is a course that is totally lacking in proper drainage. Don't waste your time playing this course until it dries out in the summer!
wet coast special
Very heavy air(right on the ocean), heavy dew/rain still on the course. Par for Nov. on V.I. Beautiful course, lots of doglegs and trees, not a lot of water or bunkers. Looking forward to golfing again when dryer.

Great Golf Course
We had a great afternoon,it was a sunny, warm and the course was in good shap.
The quiet is deafening
One of the best kept secrets on Vancouver Island. Will definitely play here again. Only 30 minute drive from Campbell River. Worst hazards on the course are the deer and their babies.
nice course
this is a nice, playable course, not the toughest course but a nice mix of holes and a good price. I would recommend playing the course is your in the area.
Subtle Greens
The fairways are in great shape - well maintained.
The greens are challenging - so many subtle lines to the cup.
The pro-shop staff are very friendly and helpful.
Tee-off times are on schedule. No overbooking.

Love this course. Staff are super friendly and the course is always in great condition. Once a month they have a fabulous Ladies Night that I have enjoyed attending for years.
Course is a fair test
Good track. Easy to walk. Greens are a challenge and in great shape
Fairways & Runways
Great location adjoining Comox Air Force Base, (actually on Military Land) no housing, just trees, student glider training, baby eagles & deer. Course in very good condition. Pace of play was just 4 hrs.
18th hole has a water hazard that makes the finally of the round either happy or ooops!!!

Not bad conditions. Staff was friendly. The airport is very loud. Cart was great. Greens rolled pretty good.
Great course, great value
Excellent course for the value. You will not be disappointed. Every club in the bag is used and that's a sign of a good golf course. Highly recommended.
