Pro shop staff extremely helpful
The course is always in good shape and dealing with the staff is great as usual
Played 18 and had a blast.
The course is in excellent shape. Fairways are green and running fast. Greens are just the right speed for my putting and the rough - well what can I say I didn't get into any rough stuff this time round. Will play it again, and again, and again.
Want slow greens that don't hold? You've come to the right spot!
Course was in ok condition however greens didn't hold and were also very slow. Back nine better then front nine but you can probably hit your driver a total of about 4 times even from the back tees. If you like hitting your 3 wood or less to narrow landing areas then have a long iron into hard slow greens you'll probably enjoy yourself.
Perfect evening
Hubby and I had an enjoyable evening at Glacier Greens. The weather was slightly cloudy so it was perfect for playing. The greens were in beautiful condition. Pace of the game was great.
We purchased the round on a "hot deal" on GolfNow so it was extremely good value!
Challenging course
This course proves to be a challenge in windy conditions. Especially the front 9. Course was in great shape and well maintained.
Some hole placements make me think the greens keepers were mad at their wives and decided to take it out on the average golfer. Lol
Great practice facilities as well.
Really, really , slow greens!
Nice course, decent shape, interesting holes and nice environment, scenic etc. Play it several times a year and am consistently disappointed with the speed of the greens. Way below average speed.
Too bad , the rest of the course is quite good and fun to play.
Staff accommodating pace of play
We got to course earlier than tee time and noted no one on tee box asked if we could head out early and told a third person had booked and we had to wait. About 25 minute later told third party did not wish to go early so we could go. No team had teed off since we arrived except for By that a threesome was in front of us and very slow reason for low let rating pace. Staff in pro shop not overally accommodating .
Absolutely fabulous condition; greens and fairways
Good for golfers of all caliber of play...very scenic lots of trees and wild life and lots of good challenging holes
Best part when watching the fighter jets taking off on hole 7&8
Courses was in good shape, pace of play was fast, all around a nice place to play
Glacier Greens
Course is in excellent shape. It would be nice if the restaurant stayed open past 6:25 pm. We were looking forward to a drink and a snack after our round, but kitchen was closed!
Solid golf course
Great Vancouver Island course that plays of all levels.
Friendliest course in Comox Valley
Last minute round booked with GolfNow with my wife. Snowbirds training was a pleasant distraction with jets roaring a few hundred feet above our heads!
Course was in fine condition for the time of year. No drainage issues after a wet few weeks. Hole variety and choice of tees is excellent. Staff and course users relaxed, courteous and just out to have fun.
Oh, and an incredible program for juniors to boot!
Well maintained course. Fun to play.
The course was in great shape. We saw several deer and an eagle very close by. It was nice and quiet even though it was right by the airport.
A very challenging and fun course to play
The whole experience was very nice. The course was challenging enough and offered some wonderful vista. The front nine is relatively narrow and requires shot making. Although the greens had recently been aerated, putting was not overly affected. The 19th hole is very quaint with outside seating that faces the 18th green and a lovely pond, surrounded by flower beds. Overall a most pleasant experience.
Excellent challenge - excellent fairways & greens
Friendly staff upon arrival - tee off on time, excellent course conditions - nice steady pace of play - lot's of wildlife to admire during round - some very interesting and challenging holes, loved #18 - would definately recommend this course.
Great course, and great value thru 'Golf Now'
Course was in great condition, but when playing 9th hole, they allowed many players to walk up our fairway from the clubhouse for some tournament, disrupting our play.
An Excellent Course to challenge yourself
I've played at glacier greens many times and I never leave the course disappointed, well other than for my score on the round sometimes.
The course is very well maintained and the staff are always pleasant to deal with.
The holes are challenging and each on has it's own distinct features. Having some narrower fairways makes your tee shots some of the most important shots of the game. And having a nice thick treeline makes sure that you have plenty of shade to hide in on the hot days.
Having the airport runway so close to the course, even running along side a few of the holes, makes for awesome sights as you watch WestJet planes take off right beside you.
I would recommend this course to anyone who wants to step there game up and absolutely recommend it to the seasoned veteran golfers as well.
easy course to walk
gentle course as far as elevations are concerned, not to many water hazards either.
Course in pretty good shape considering the rain we've had lately. Weather was good...sunny/cloudy periods.
We always enjoy playing this course. Nice scenery and varied wildlife. Pace of play has always been 'relaxed' - never feel rushed. We like watching the various aircraft coming and going - provides a little entertainment while walking the course.
