Quilchena on the Lake Golf Course

Located just 15 minutes north of Merritt, Quilchena on the Lake is situated on the site of a former cattle ranch. The lake referred to in the club's name is nearby Nicola Lake. The tranquil lakeside setting is framed by mature trees and colorful flowers. Originally opened in 1963 with a mere three holes, the golf course has since expanded to nine holes. It may not be a full-length championship layout, but you shouldn't underestimate this golf course. The winding Quilchena Creek comes into play on over half the holes and there are also several strategically placed sand traps. Both the rolling fairways and sculpted greens have tricky contours that make proper club selection a key factor. The golf course has proven to be challenging for all skill levels, even advanced players.
