First off, for as much as you pay to play here, and as good as the putting and chipping practice areas are, the hitting nets look like they were second hand at a yard sale. The hitting area is very muni, and if the course is looking to upgrade one thing, this is it.

As for the course, if you're wanting to play a leisurely, relaxed round and have a few cold ones with friends, skip it. If you're wanting to play some disciplined, challenging golf, this is the place. Forced carries, undulating fairways and greens, elevation changes, and tall grass ready to eat up balls. Greens were lighting fast and not receptive. There were shots I though good, that quickly turned to disaster as I watched them roll off a hilly fairway or green. Shot placement and correct club selection is critical here. It's kinda hard for me to say I liked or disliked the track since course knowledge is so helpful here, it really takes a couple rounds to get to know the course. I think it can really be a brutal, frustrating round if you're not on your A game, and even if you are, good shots can turn into bad shots quickly.

Overall, glad I played here. It's an experience and want to play here again in the future.

Course is in great condition and staff is great but for the high green fees the course definitely needs better signage and tee markers.. We felt like we were "Beta Testing" the course for finding the next tee. More like a scavenger hunt at this stage of the course development. But if you are near a sctatch golfer you will love the challenge.

This is an amazing golf course , with incredible views of Nicola lake.

It is hard to believe this course actually closed down for a few years because it’s so good.

There is some serious elevation changes on this course, with a lot of forced carry’s and some blind tee shots, the par 3’s are really awesome . It is a real challenge but fun.

Sagebrush would have to have the largest greens I have ever seen on a golf course.

If you get the chance take this course on.

This is a fabulous must play course. Massive greens that are as true as any course I've ever played. Even if you don't score your best, you walk away having had a fun day and the desire to come back right away.

Great pace. Links style golf with very fast greens. And they are massive. Plays the way golf was meant to be played. A must play for the avid golfer!!!

Sagebrush is like no other! One cannot simply play another course after playing sagebrush! The topography rolls up and down and make it an extremely entertaining course to play! It will make any other course fairways and greens look like Winnipeg in comparison! A great links course! Massive greens with intense dips and lifts! My favourite course on earth!
