The Falls Golf Club
About
The Falls Golf Club in Chilliwack was carved from the foothills of Mount Cheam, providing the course with a dramatic landscape that is ideal for a challenging round. The views from the golf course span across the scenic Fraser Valley. The challenge and scenery of the Falls has earned it a reputation amongst locals as one of BC's best-kept secrets. The rolling terrain is accented with natural rock outcroppings and tall cedars, which both come into play throughout the golf course. The changes in elevation total over 750 feet, ranging from subtle to dramatic. There are many formidable holes but they each have an average of five sets of tees so that players of all abilities can play to their skill level. The Falls Golf Club's memorable fourth hole even has nine different tees as well as a 100-foot drop to the green.

Another perfect day at the Falls
Always a great day ... the staff and facility did an excellent job at making me feel safe during the COVID protocols. A perfect clear day... can’t wait to get back !
Great Views but needs some Work
The Falls is a mountain course which makes it extremely challenging due to sloping and blind areas. It is rarely busy so the pace of play is leisurely which I love. There are some drainage issues when it's wet and there is ongoing updating to the bunkers and hazard areas. It is a work in progress but I am hoping it will improve over the next year.
The views are nothing short of spectacular so if you are having a challenging day just look around you, take a deep breath and be grateful you get to spend a day in a spectacular setting.
difficult course if relatively new player
As I was not an especially adept player, I found the course challenging, as I spent a great deal of time looking for my ball. Each hole after the 12th was narrow and edges dropped off at sides, and being not quite up to the challenge I spent a fair bit of time looking for my ball. Best perhaps suited to a better player.
Course conditions
Staff were friendly and helpful golf course overall was in good shape but their tee boxes were much less than desirable.
Gorgeous views
The greens are fast and in great shape. The fairways are forgiving with spectacular views. Take extra balls as the edges can eat them!
Will not be returning
What was likely once a very cool course has fallen into terrible shape. Bunkers are literally piles of dirt and weeds, fairways were long and untended, and what was forever mally water is now in many cases trenches of long grass and garbage. Greens are tricky, but otherwise I would avoid this course. Clearly the owner is waiting to be bought out by a developer.
Amazing Views
This course has some of the most amazing views of any course in the Fraser Valley. The course has lots of fun elevated tees that make it really fun to play. The course was in reasonable condition when we played it but still has a long way to go to get back to the condition it once was before it went bankrupt but seams to be improving a little bit with each season. I always have a great time golfing here.
Disappointed with course condition
The tee off areas were in poor condition. Fairways were OK but some dry and hard areas...not expected for this early in the summer. Bunker sand is full of small rocks. Overall very disappointed and will not play again.
Not a bad course
I’ve played here before and it’s not a bad course but currently lots of ground under repair in areas there used to be bunkers. Some tee boxes were in pretty rough shape. Carts should be included in Golf Now rates too. They require you to have a cart at this course so having to show up and pay for a cart when every other green fee there includes a power cart is ridiculous. I know it’s advertised as a walking rate, but the actual course doesn’t have a walking rate....be prepared to add $26 to what you pay online.
Great Course Ruined by Nominal Maintenance
Extremely disappointed with course conditions. Former bunkers are now weed infested rock pits, with no apparent care or even an attempted reseeding with grass. If your balls rolls in to one of these numerous ex-bunkers (20+) you will be lucky to find your ball and no play is possible without wrecking your clubs. Fairways and first cut are being infested with weeds throughout the course and most fairways have bald spots and ground under repair despite the perfect conditions to grow grass this spring/early summer.. Overall, this great layout has been wrecked by insufficient attempts at maintenance. I believe It is only time before this place shuts down for it's residential real estate value. Goodbye The Falls, hello Chiliwack GC, Sandpiper GC, etc...
New Ownership few years back now starting to show!
IMO if you live or travel near Vancouver BC The Falls should be on your must play list. Incredible course for the money. Going through a little change that some bunkers are growing out to be grass bunkers but all go forward bunkers are in good conditions. Any not grown out yet are marked GUR.
Fairways, Greens and Tee Blocks are in excellent condition.
Mountain courses are amazing with stunning views on many holes!
Some sloped fairways so play the right side, but they are obvious.
Starts on a Par 3 and I recommend add 1 or maybe 2 clubs deceiving hole.
Most greens slope to valley, like most mountain courses it's slopes on slopes and might have you seeing 4' L-R and break 2' R-L.
Good mix of Challenging holes and Birdie opportunities.
I love this course
This is really a hidden gem. Beautiful mountain backdrop and a well laid out course. If you haven't played it in a while .... you should!
Course has been neglected!
The fairways and Greens are in good playable condition. Almost all bunkers have not been worked for years. Full of overgrown weeds and marked as GUR. Not a true golf experience when the bunkers have been eliminated. Not worth the 1 1/2 hour drive from Vancouver. Too many reasonably priced good to great courses in the area.
Love Hate
Amazing views and course layout. Unique to itself, It blows everyone who plays it away. Make it hard to play those boring flat, farmers fields in Chilliwack again.
I do not like the slow play at the course which they still haven't figured out. Club house and pro shop are brutal, no driving range and poor anything practice facility.
Hopefully with new ownership they put some money into the course and facilities and bring it back to what it once was when I was a member there.
Course conditions are getting better each year, should take another couple years to fully recover.
Overall it's so unique and visually stunning that I'm giving it a 4 for it's wow factor not because of anything else. Price is great, go play it!
This course is rough
Mini golf would be a better game the course has leaves on every fairway and tee boxes are in bad shape this track should not be played any time soon
A TRUE MOUNTAIN GOLF COURSE
High up on the mountain looking way down from your tee-off or further on down the fairway, every spot is magnificent in this challenging course. Hit it right or you may find yourself adding many more strokes to your game. The course is fantastic in a rustic mountain setting with long drives to the next tee but the fairways and greens are very well looked after. The clubhouse needs up-dating.
Great course when there is a deal
Nice course, hard enough not to get bored and easy enough to make some nice score! Be sure to follow the hints on the golfcard and be sure your putting is dialed in! Greens can be tricky! Also try to play near the car path!
Will go back
I don't believe it leaves on a golf course in the middle of October.
