About
Guildford Golf & Country Club has long been known as one of the finest courses British Columbia has to offer. The golf course is located in Surrey, just across the U.S. border from Washington and less than 40 minutes from Vancouver. The scenic layout has fairways lined with mature trees and the greens are large and undulating. There are also creeks that weave across the golf course and numerous lakes that come into play. The layout has a classic design that still provides a challenge for all skill levels. Golfers are put to the test right away on the first two holes, a par 4 and a par 3 respectively, which require good course management and thoughtful decision making. Guilford's standout hole though, is the signature 16th. This tough par 3 is modeled after the notorious 12th hole at Augusta National, complete with a stone bridge and water hazard that encircles almost the entire green.

Great course but many people interrupted hole.
You have to control of pace to pace in this hole.
So dangerous course due to everywhere throw the balls.
Green were smooth but a little slow
Green were little slow compared to last week. Fairway were ok but a little dry . All the public courses were dry too . Deal with No rain for a month. Fun course to played here.
We'll maintained, friendly environment
Took my wife there for her first time and we had a blast.
Staff and fellow golfers were very friendly and patient.
Golf Course/ Goose farm
There are a lot of geese all over the course. The course doubles as a goose farm. Some of the fairways are completely covered with goose poop and it's hard avoiding it with my push cart. I played there a few weeks ago and one of the greens had a lot of G.P. on it. Surprised management hasn't addressed the issue. Everything else was pretty good.
Tee Off is Too Quick
They have tee offs every 3 minutes which is absurd. We waited for our 4:02 tee off, which 4:05 coming right after and every other time. It took us 4.5 hours to play 16, at which point I walked off the course as it was ridiculously packed with line ups at each tee box. No course management and they don't care.
Mid-summer golf
Great round on a day where it was nearly 40 degrees outside. Course was in good shape given the heat wave.
Ok condition overall which was dry everywhere
The course condition was ok but some green were damage by the dry weather. Really really slow today we played 5 hours 14 minutes which was not acceptable . 5 hours a round still ok for me . But more than 5 hours we were so frustrated and angry. I never played that slow at any course in Canada or US . Marshal came out twice but No improvement at all .
Hurry up and wait
Got stuck behind a business tournament the other day. Guys were having a blast. However, not many of them being quality golfers made for a 6 hour round as a group behind them. I feel it’s more so on the course to place their times better for a tournament like that or at least give people booking a heads up that it’s going on. I would have played elsewhere had I known that was happening - and because this course doesn’t have the 9th hole at the clubhouse you can’t really only play 9. Guys ahead of us we’re class acts, but it made for a long hot day when they have no beverage cart driving around. Love the course - but that pace was atrocious hah.
Good value for money
A nicely laid out course, with lots of hazards in the right places, pace of play was good, 4hrs 5mins...
