About
Guildford Golf & Country Club has long been known as one of the finest courses British Columbia has to offer. The golf course is located in Surrey, just across the U.S. border from Washington and less than 40 minutes from Vancouver. The scenic layout has fairways lined with mature trees and the greens are large and undulating. There are also creeks that weave across the golf course and numerous lakes that come into play. The layout has a classic design that still provides a challenge for all skill levels. Golfers are put to the test right away on the first two holes, a par 4 and a par 3 respectively, which require good course management and thoughtful decision making. Guilford's standout hole though, is the signature 16th. This tough par 3 is modeled after the notorious 12th hole at Augusta National, complete with a stone bridge and water hazard that encircles almost the entire green.

Surprised with winter layout
When I booked The tee time there was no notice of the winter layout. Or the punched and sandy greens. With the beautiful day, and the front nine being turned into 10 holes. The pace was awful. It took us 4.5 hours to play 15.
I do like this course because it is usually reasonable priced and the pace is always so bad. But this time not so much. N
Wet and muddy
Conditions were muddy, poor drainage. Also, cart paths are muddy and many potholes. Need a gravel base. 2-3 temp greens, that’s not good. I do like the layout, variety in the holes, challenging!
Too slow too sloppy
For 30$ how bad could it be….very bad left after the 14th course was slop and four temp greens
Awful course conditions
17 out of 18 holes super muddy even the greens! Don’t go there find another course
Staff did not show up- teed off late
No one was there working when we showed up. Pro shop guy showed up 20 minutes after tee time at 8:22 when we were supposed to go at 8:02.
Didn’t even offer discount or credit for being late. We could’ve just walked on but did the right thing waiting
Choose another course
terrible course condition, staff not friendly, they don’t advice course condition (16 out of 18 holes just mud) they make 2 holes out of one, so the GPS become crazy, not enjoyed at all
Golf fee of Golf now reservation not honored
Made golf now reservation at 40 with Cart and they charge at 60. And tee time was delayed and pace of play was so slow and could play only 10 holes. Very disappointed.
Shouldn't Be Open
Visiting Vancouver and area and decided to play. Found this course, we knew they got rained ehich we expect it will be wet on the course. MUD all over the path, paddle of water 90% of the fairway. Shouldn't be open as people playing will not definitely enjoy their time. We did not enjoy and felt wasted our money even though it was cheap but still ... we went for a second round at Morgan Creek which was amazing. No paddle of water.
Making people to play at that condition is unacceptable.
