About
Guildford Golf & Country Club has long been known as one of the finest courses British Columbia has to offer. The golf course is located in Surrey, just across the U.S. border from Washington and less than 40 minutes from Vancouver. The scenic layout has fairways lined with mature trees and the greens are large and undulating. There are also creeks that weave across the golf course and numerous lakes that come into play. The layout has a classic design that still provides a challenge for all skill levels. Golfers are put to the test right away on the first two holes, a par 4 and a par 3 respectively, which require good course management and thoughtful decision making. Guilford's standout hole though, is the signature 16th. This tough par 3 is modeled after the notorious 12th hole at Augusta National, complete with a stone bridge and water hazard that encircles almost the entire green.

Great course but staff is dishonest and have no integrity
Booked round on GolfNow because it was a great deal, however when I checked in, the staff at the proshop did not honor the GolfNow price that included a power cart. They could not believe the price on the confirmation email that GolfNow sent me and said it was an error. If they are using GolfNow to accept bookings, they should be honoring the deals. Instead of honoring the price on my confirmation, they were going to charge me for a cart and green fees. What is the use of using GolfNow to book a round if the golf course would not honor the price quoted?
Good value
Greens were being punched and sanded do weren't very good. Got a discount for next time we play so was happy with that.
Although we saw two Course Marshalls patrolling, the pace was slow - 5 hours. Green had lots of damage, not sure if it was disease pr some other cause
Challenging layout
If you can't launch your ball then don't play here because there are a lot of tee shots that require you to clear hazards. It has elevation and some interesting holes. The pace was good and we played relatively fast. It's quite hilly so be prepared for a hike.
A decent, although slow, round of golf
This is an average course that is worthwhile to play, especially if you can get a hot deal. Rounds are slow as they put a lot of people on the course. Our round was nearly 5h30m. There becomes even little that a marshal can do, even though they tried with the group behind us (wasn't much place for them to go). Greens are in decent shape and some are really large and challenging which makes it fun. Fairways are ok.
Slow play, terrible shape
This course was a 5+ hour round. Late to tee off and never got any better. Course had many patchy spots especially on the greens. Would like my money back if possible.
It was a challenging course.
The score was messy due to hot temperatures and strong gusts, but it was a challenging course.
I want to challenge until I record a single score.
Decent value
This course has certainly dropped off since I played it last. Extremely muddy conditions in some areas and not marked. Sunk up to my ankle once. Greens were poor. Does no one fix their ball marks here? Other high use courses in the area are in much better shape.
Hope someone gets rid of the creek.
The creek in the middle of the course drove me crazy. I lost a lot of balls.
Very slow play
Little over 5 hours for a round. Greens are not maintained, ugly patches, soft surface with foot imprints all over.
I enjoyed today.
It was a little delayed, but it was patient. The creek in the middle of the course is really annoying.
It must be an error, you should have checked with Golfnow or Proshop once again, Golfnow does not list the power cart with it.
