Could be everything OK except Ryan got us on the whole seven so was disaster and very unpleasant playing the golf so hopefully I get some discount next time
Payment rules not clear
When booking in app there’s a payment due now, and instructed to pay the difference due on course. When checking in at pro shop, I was required to pay the full cost and guided to book via call instead of GolfNow. The payment instructions in app booking is not correct that misleading me to pay more I should.
Great day
The course is well maintained and the gapping between groups is decent so there isn’t a wait between holes. Greens are in great shape and tee boxes are well kept. Blowers on the course to keep it clean during round as well as cart service is nice.
Excellent golf experience
For the price and quality of the course, it is one of the best deals out there.
Decent greens
Lot of geese droppings. Fun layout, need course knowledge to score well.

Greens were fast soft and true. Course knowledge is a must fir the varying hole layouts.
Was Nice!
Pace of play was a bit slow but didn't have high expectations going in as I had heard this was an issue here. Overall enjoyed the round and course conditions for early May.

Everyone likes Newlands
Friendly staff and a very reasonable green fee for starters. A challenging and narrow layout with very nice greens even in early spring.
Good Value - few puddles
Played Saturday prime time at $55. Great price compared to everyone else charging $80+. Greens weren't bad but some fairways has puddles. Pace was great. Honestly cant complain. Well, I can complain about my garbage 100+ score.
